COnducted a small exercise last might to see how much Newland had extracted from shareholders and the value he has destroyed. I didnt go back before 2017, as just didnt have the heart (6.7m raised in'15).

ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDING FIGURE OF £105M ( yes folks one hundred and five million pounds) that Newland has taken from shareholders.

The Board should be up in arms about his performance. And it explains why so many institutions have thrown in the towel. Newland cannot be trusted to deliver. Just think about that- £105m raised, and yet we barely have a cash run to 2025, and the clown has made a virtue of it. £105m raised and yet market cap is £38m, and we have virtually no income!!!!:

Normal service indeed. Nero Newland’s continued bullishness continues to be thwarted by the share price response. Also noteworthy is the complete lack of share purchases by a single board member! None of them have bought a single share on the aftermath of Newland’s presentation.

High time the cowards on the Board insisted that both Chair & Newland set out what has gone wrong , why it has gone wrong and what they intend to do to fix matters. Selvey’s lack of backbone and Nero’s overweening ego have led to a disaster not just for s/holders but for the poor staff at the company fed a relentless diet of unremitting disappointment. As an ex adviser to listed companies always interesting to note when companies change how boilerplate wording of how they describe themselves … often straws in the wind signifying a change in strategy or direction. Todays RNS may be one such straw as till now any RNS from Emperor Nero has described company as: “Angle, a world leading liquid biopsy company.” Today’s RNS boiler plate is different : “Angle, a world leading liquid biopsy company, with innovative CTC diagnostic solutions for the research and diagnostic oncology market.”

Worth checking them out. Swansinger is still listed on DxTerity, his previous company’s website, so he ain’t arrived yet. And Karen Miller’s arrival looks like a case of any port in a storm as Ixaka her previous company appears to have shut up shop/ imploded, with the senior team spread to the four winds - hardly a ringing endorsement of strengthening management bench - so one suspects it was a case of her chasing Nero Newland and not other way round. Seems incredible that Newland has managed just 3 tiny tiny deals in 12 months whilst totally destroying his investors monies thro a toxic combination of management incompetence, his own rampant egotism, and a board not fit for purpose.

Press release on launch on Lucid’s website as of yesterday. Start taking US orders in Sept at almost $300k per vehicle: seems like it could be big sales, and decent shop window for our brake tech. If US investors pick up on this shares could fly, but then again, I’ve been hoping for that for ages.

Give it time Samson.... best outcome is a Harwood-engineered break up with the Specialty Ag business going to a new home, and the nuclear engineering business being sold to Rolls Royce or similar nuclear focused engineering group with the heft and competency to exploit ythe tech and IP within the specialist engineering ops. Oh and there's cash on the balance sheet as well....

Page as Chairman defenestrated the previous CEO (who'd arrived with great fanfare) and thad him out within barely a year. We then had the ludicrous age of the extension search for a new CEO that dragged on for months until, guess what, miraculously the man to lead the company was there already...one Peter Page. And now guess what, the Board thinks he's not the man. So if he isnt, and they could find anyone who fitted the bill before, then who is ? Answer son a postcard to Harwood Capital... Rudderless company seeks saviour...

personally, I think it is beyond them, as amply demonstrated by the presentation, and the subsequent sp reaction. There was

1. No vision, no enthusiasm from Mr Page. More crucially there was absolutely sense of energy or urngency, rather the feeling that yet again the BoD is justifying their sinecures and trying to manage decline

2. Nothing her to reward long-suffering shreholders: no special dividend, no share buy back, no acqusition....absolutely SFA to convince s/holders this management team is looking after our interests

3. So light was the presentation on growth prospects or new opportunities, or why the engineering business sits with specialty ag that Mr Market is clearly worried that the BoD and managemetn is not competent to invest the proceeds wisely

4. Shrinking to get bigger only works with acquisitions. If not s/holders' money is dead here for years to come

Finally some decisive action from the board to end the baleful reign of Peter Page; the update was clearly the final straw and no doubt Harwood read the riot act. The only wonder is that Page isn’t out the door immediately, but given he was previously chairman, kicked out the previous CEO, oversaw a wasteful & fruitless ceo search culminating in his own appointment, it is hardly surprising!! Page can’t go because there’s no one competent to replace him w/i the company as the CFO has barely been there a year. Utter shambles and staff deserve far better. Best outcome is a bid that breaks this pointless construct up and allows long suffering staff to have a positive future. Dreadful management & stewardship under Page who is fully responsible imo for the absolute mess he leaves behind. Good riddance ( when it finally comes)

The total silence on commercial progress over the last 12 months contrasts nearly with the previous twelve months hyperactive pr ego-fest from Newland. His ability to destroy shareholder value is simply breathtaking - from 60p or thereabouts last year ( itself halved from the peak) our anti hero supported by one of the most useless boards around led by Selvey has systematically cratered the value of the company. A breakthrough year in ‘22 followed by a breakdown year on ‘23 thanks to Nero

Time to sell the other half! Dreadful update from our heroes! This company continues to show it’s a basket case to manage - too many factors outside its control like weather, farmers’ whims, contract delays @ cut price competition ( engineering). What factors it can control, the management regularly messes up!

Here we go again- the AIM gravy train. RNS on exec share options. Both CEO & CFO granted oodles of in the money options ( ok with 2/3 3 year vesting& 1/3 4 Yr) but absolutely no detail about hurdles!! Dreadful

Mildly positive update. At least they avoided another pointlessly downbeat update; after the comms debacles of recent updates that’s something to cheer. However, I am concerned about the cash figure, which has run down substantially. Another cash call would be disastrous for managements damaged reputation for competence, and frankly it can’t be ruled out… not surprised sp marked down. We need a string of positive contract wins to lift the shadow over the company imho.

Well the expectation he ga bee was a consistent stream of announcements upto July, so yes his expectation management did leave a lot to be desired, but at last we have something concrete
