Ah the tedious bore has posted again. Had it have attended the AGM and had it taken an interest in the company announcements it wouldn’t need to ask those questions.
The tedious bore is a deramping troll.
Most maybe? Certainly not all.
Horsey, if you really think that, why take every opportunity to **** the company off? Why ‘err’ on facts to paint the company in a bad light? Please don’t turn into another pompous, tedious bore.
Horsey, John Gore’s 4M share buy went through at 16:28 on the 8th August at 9p.
Everyone, apart maybe from the tedious bore here? Knows more than you Horse lol
Actually I had the Tour de France on, more my cup of tea :-)
It starred out the ******* of Steven Han*******! That is so funny! :-)
Cameras – they used both older and newer cameras at the Wireless Festival. Worldwide, there are only 14 of the top tech’ lenses in existence, MelodyVR own 12 of them.
There was a question about being listed on NASDAQ which seemed to me to be closed down quite quickly. I’m not sure what to read into that, maybe nothing? Maybe something? Only time will tell but personally, I’m not ruling it out. Maybe I’ll be meeting up with my great EVRH investor buddies in New York for next year’s AGM?! ??
Good luck all,
Chris.
The work that EVRH did with Live Nation on the Wireless Festival could possibly form the basis of an MSA between the companies.
Following the recent appointment of a Chief Commercial Officer (previously worked at Shazam), EVRH now feel that there are no more major hires needed at this time.
EVRH are looking at more marketing tie-ups.
There are currently no successful competitors to EVRH and there are fewer potential competitors out there now. One recent website was set up around theatre in VR, apparently JG picked up the phone and spoke to the people behind it (some small team of dev’s in Poland), it is believed they are no longer chasing the game.
Some of the II’s that came in at 16p have been buying on the open market, some can’t because they are at their max of allowable holding in EVRH. They have invested for the long haul and wouldn’t flinch at low share prices as they see where EVRH are going.
Mark Zuckerberg will get to his target of 1Bn VR devices but now the smartphone app’ is launched there are already over 1Bn devices that EVRH can target. Before, phones weren’t technically good enough for MVR content, now they are. 5G rollout is VERY significant.
Cash position – Anthony very confidently stated that they had “more than enough” cash and stated they had £21M at year end. They do not give out cash burn figures but it is “similar to the last 12 months”.
Simon Cole (NED) was the third person on the top table, he talked very positively about EVRH being a small, nimble company in a nascent market. He enthused on the amazing team that EVRH have built, how it was quite inspiring and had the ability to, and do, move very fast on new opportunities.
There is a commitment to bring in advertising and advertising funded models as some consumers do not like to pay for content. An off-the-cuff remark about 20p-30p per play for an advert across a 3 million base soon adds up to good revenue was made.
When asked about the Merian short the answer from the top table was “we’ll see how that plays out for them”. I got the impression it would be wise for them to close and close quite quickly.
Geo rollout – China & Japan won’t be that quickly but work is underway. A different type of market where users like to own something ‘physical’ so the ‘viewer bundle’ approach will help with that.
When asked about where EVRH will be in 12 months the answer was around a lot more theatre, great mobile take-up, music artists promoting their own content and a company offering great opportunities for both advertising and also funded content.
Sports – in the future, not for today. Boxing more suited to VR than football. Football would require on-pitch cameras and the tech’ isn’t quite there yet.
MelodyVR subscription – “in time, yes”. Live VR event ticketing would be paid for and existing content on subscription.
Here’s a typed up version of my scribbled notes from the EVRH AGM in London, 19th July, 2019. Make of them what you will, not intended as investment advice, please consult an FSA registered professional for your individual investment requirements.
Some subjects I have more detailed notes on than others, it was hard to hear, understand and scribble at the same time. Multi-tasking is not a man thing apparently!
My over-riding impression was that I am more than comfortable with my investment in this company. I’ve met Anthony Matchett and Steven Han**** on a handful of occasions now since their first attendance at BigGib’s Momentous Events. Two more personable, smart, knowledgeable and driven guys you couldn’t wish to meet. Let the haters hate, these boys know what they are doing and now have the team and money in place to deliver their dream. Just look at the quality of production they delivered at the Wireless Festival and the quarter of a million consumers who viewed the MelodyVR festival content and remember, this was a ‘niche’ music festival.
So,
New broker research note will be out in “a couple of months”, interims will be out in August.
Broker change - the main analyst at Investec that really understood EVRH left soon after Investec were appointed. Arden understand the business and are basically a sales organisation and will push EVRH. Leading up to the Wireless Festival Arden contacted their black book of clients about it and following the festival many meetings with Arden investors have been set up. Arden are pushing the EVRH story hard. There is an intention to hold a Capital Markets Day later this year possibly on the back of an ‘announcement’.
EVRH have been contacted by many large organisations worldwide following the Wireless Festival success.
Facebook - Anthony couldn’t really speak about Facebook/Oculus as still under NDA however, the engagement is at a “high level”.
John Gore RNS - the £ and $ and options at a £220M valuation by December numbers around the John Gore investment(s) were all confirmed as correct. Clearly JG believes that the EVRH share price will be significantly higher that the approximate 15p he intends to invest more money in at by December end.
Steven Han**** has been working on the John Gore / Broadway project for 9 months. Theatres are now at capacity, there is no way to physically expand the number of seats, ticket prices are deemed to be at maximum and, despite bringing in more matinee performances, there are both union and performer workload reasons to restrict further performances. Being so, JG sees MelodyVR as an opportunity to increase revenues. Of interest were the figures given on incomes; the average US Broadway show attendee earns $240k per annum against the average music concert attendee of $35k per annum. Theatre will come a lot more to the fore in 2020.
EVRH are looking at bundling content with a viewer.
There is a 3 week sweet spot for marketing a live event.
250,000 People watched Wireless via MelodyVR. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/melodyvr-app-puts-music-festival-fans-in-the-front-row-csgpspf3r
Just the start.
Hard to find now as the tedious bore has had some posts removed I believe. There is one left up that says "I guess we will find out at the AGM", the only real way to do that would have been to be there but this was a post from this board's resident clown so who knows?
In looking I was taken by the complete contrast between the clown's observations and predictions and what Anthony told us yesterday. If his posts weren't quite so yawn inducing it would almost be amusing with the cluelessness of them.
I also read one that claimed I was Harrydash, no disrespect to Harry but I post on this username alone. It's my name as anyone who follows me on Twitter would know.
Anyway, no surprise he bottled the AGM, one of the resolutions had 2 votes against, I wondered at the time if that was the clown using his voting rights to flex his muscles :-)
I’m on my way Optimist, looking forward to seeing you there! :-)
See you at the AGM tomorrow. Look out for the Avocado. It’ll be interesting to put a face to the name and getting your real thoughts. You said you’ll be there so if you don’t say hello and still claim to be there, I’ll be testing you lol
Unless they started to close on Friday they haven’t started closing yet.
I have one and I never knew!
I didn’t know the Go had a microphone?
The NBA season finished in June ;-)
No not you Albert, you have an educated and reasoned view of EVRH unlike some of the tedious bores that pop up on here (mainly) on down days but disappear when the sp is rising.
Agree Albert (is that name from the TV drama about the gang of confidence tricksters?) Other broadcasters could well wish to engage EVRH capabilities for their own VR productions in many fields.
