28p? Ah, if only JK! As mentioned before I am heavily underwater to the tune of 85%, and would be happy if that reduced to 50%. Sadly, I also invested in John Wood. The lesson here is that if I invest in anything, stay well clear....

Well-argued JK, and I hope you are right - I'd like to recover some of the £20,000 that I have so far lost! I think that a major obstacle to share price recovery is the serial failure to manage the business effectively and deliver value. This has scared potential investors and perhaps we are left with the rump of folk such as ourselves who, having lost so much, have little left to lose and are grimly holding on with fingers and other parts of their anatomy crossed.

I appreciate things can change quickly if we see continual, sustained improvement. 2025 will be pretty much make or break I think...

Up yesterday, down today - this really is a yo-yo share at the moment, and I guess it will remain so until the outcome of the review is made clear. I wonder why there is no forward indication as to when the review will be complete - perhaps someone far smarter and better-informed than me can help??

Whichever way you look at it, S&N has been an unmitigated investment disaster over the last few years. A broadly static share price (now heading south again), an overpaid CEO etc. That said, I am with others here in thinking that the knee-jerk fall is an opportunity to top up and, hopefully, average down. So I've bought in a chunk at 959. Fingers crossed we get a rebound later today. Good luck fellow masochistic S&N investors!

Well I spoke too soon about reversion to the 980's. We are now down to the 960's. Truly one of my worst investments. Hard to understand why...
