Well what a day of amazing volume and number of trades. This one is getting noticed now and definitely on the radar.

20%+ increase in SP with no news; makes you wonder how this will fly with a cracking RNS

Well I had thought that SJP were entering the FTSE100 this week and there would have been a nice little tick up as the FTSE100 Trackers bought in, but on researching it, although they are moving up, they don't apparently enter the index until 23rd December. Hey ho

I wouldn't worry. Job cuts can spark a little nervousness, but are good for the investor IMO as it shows the company is cost cutting. Let's see where this one is at the end of the week ;)

A slimmer and more agile workforce should help the balance sheet and show that Fitzpatrick is serious about driving forwards the changes that SJP needs to remain competitive and grow further.

I think the ftse100 constituents are reviewed after market close this Wednesday 4th, so hoping for a nice rise on Thursday once the FTSE100 Trackers that hold the stock directly make their buys

I too have a medium stack invested and shall hold until the company matures and hopefully delivers some good profit. Probably the riskiest stock I hold now, but with higher risk often comes higher return ;)

Seen that before Duke, but good to have a refresher. I think there is so much potential for this stock, but the test will be their ability to increase revenues significantly. This is one IMO that could take off quickly on good news, so I want to be a part of it

Where did you see that Hightower ?

They do state in the interim report 'preliminary indications suggesting a good prospect of insurance recovery' regarding the remedial works, which sounds positive and could help lift the S/P once confirmed. Labour's creation of a National Wealth Fund looks like it will also help SFR. I'm happy to hold and add at these prices for the longer term

Indeed. The rejoining of the FTSE100 should provide an additional lift with the FTSE100 trackers who hold the stock directly buying in. Happy with this one, way oversold earlier this year after, in my opinion, overly negative press coverage regarding fees.

Nice sea of blue now. I think folks are realising this was oversold. I've re-read today's RNS and, whilst acknowledging the headwinds, still think this is a good hold with the company having quite a diversified orderbook. GLA

Just taken a small stake in this stock, looks oversold to me. My buy was showing as a sell as is often the way.

I think Wetherspoons have a lot of potential from her for all the reasons that have been posted. When you have customers on the margin financially looking to socialise out, they'll gravitate towards Spoons on cost. I have been building a stake accordingly. I wouldn't touch Marstons as they destroyed two of my favourite beers Ringwood and Jennings after taking them over :(

Couple of sizeable buys from Wednesday showing today. Onwards and upwards. News of some contracts should give this upward momentum and some from this level. GLA
