Yes Amerloque, It did upset people but in those days it was trading at 120p and I felt 40p/50p was fair value, which it was for a while. There is no agenda with me, and never has been. At the time it was my view the DOW Asian factory was just a white elephant, which of course it was. 10p is a good price now IMO. I expect much better than that to be achieved vi the court case.

I can probably shed some light on this folks. The company has been generating some interest amongst subscribers to the Michael Walters investment site in the past few days, where there is a new thread relating to this company. Changes are expected imminently which may revive it's fortunes. ISLAMABAD:

Solar power is the way forward for Pakistan to safeguard its energy security and to lower the basket price of electricity for consumers, said Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) CEO Dr Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan.

Speaking at the first virtual conference on Solarisation of Pakistan, organised by Energy Update, Khan said Pakistan should take massive advantage of its presence in one of the best solar zones in the world.

He stated that lately solar energy had become the cheapest source of energy among the low-cost options for generating electricity. “This has happened due to a steep decline in solar electricity rates.”

He declared that the AEDB would fully support full exploitation of solar power potential in the country so that by 2030 Pakistan could generate up to 30% of its electricity from clean sources of energy.

He said the AEDB had been conducting solar resource mapping of Pakistan with support of the World Bank and for the purpose nine solar stations had been established in different areas.

Moreover, the board is taking required measures to introduce competitive bidding for the upcoming alternative energy projects in the country.

He said solar power projects would also be introduced for remote off-grid areas of the country.

Speaking on the occasion, PM Housing Task Force Chairman Zaigham Mahmood Rizvi emphasised the need for using superior quality equipment to generate solar electricity for long-term benefit of the energy sector.

He said solar equipment of superior quality could last up to 40 years for maximum benefit of the energy system.

Rizvi said quite soon export-oriented industries would have to install alternative energy plants as their products manufactured with the help of conventional sources of energy would not be accepted by the developed countries.

He said India had done much homework to switch its industries to clean resources of energy. He was of the view that utilisation of clean energy resources had a massive impact on the environment and carbon footprint of the country.

Sindh Solar Energy Project Director Mehfooz Qazi told the conference that the Sindh government had been working on $100 million worth of projects to extensively promote the use of solar energy in the province.

He said Sindh had the potential to generate up to 10 GWs of electricity based on solar power as such a clean source of energy was enough to make the province self-sufficient in its electricity needs.

Qazi hoped that the new Alternative Energy Policy introduced by the government would help implement the World Bank-assisted solar project in Sindh.

Senior energy consultant Faiz Bhutta said commercial banks in the country should be encouraged to launch loan facility for the upcoming clean energy projects.

With the availability of large-area graphene layers, many different fields of technology are set to benefit, including computing, energy generation, and energy storage. For example, in solar power applications, constraints arising from traditional construction methods currently mean that the solar cells have maximised efficiency at approximately 23-24 percent. However, by supplementing the silicon-based cells with graphene, this performance could be increased by up to three percent – a very significant increase.

Why in the broker report are short term MW expectations / targets so muted? We did one big deal with SAF. Why not again? Why should it be so much better in 2020, 2021 and beyond? I am puzzled by this. The market for verditek is here now or is there a cost barrier issue which can only be solved by enhanced production efficiencies?

Broker and analyst reports are all fine but at this stage we investors all know there is only one thing that will perk up the share price.

I should add that the report is corporate marketing that has been paid for by VDTK rather than an independent financial report but it has a wealth of interesting detail and is definitely worth a read.

Cat - I am with you replace your 3-6 month time line with 1-3 months. Even if it is trial orders like the previous one we will be ok. The market is looking for solid evidence in 2020 not Q1 of 2021.

Fine, but like I said, all of that does cut both ways too. So there you have it - share price drift. The deals will need to pick up again soon to meet cash flow positive target for end of 2020 anyhow.

It cuts both ways Catwith9 and Bananaman - it's all very well holding back until "proper" news but the flip side it
will drift down in the absence of any news, as 2010 reaches its end. Surely there is plenty for the company to update us on besides material order news? We had a couple of operational updates earlier this year - something similar now would be just the job IMO.
