My exit was based on two observations. Firstly Trump is now looking reckless with no one to reign him in , he's surrounded by a cabal of nutjobs and megnomaniacs in cabinet who will go to the brink with the madness and secondly and more importantly IAG is now tracking Brent crude and that's only going one direction for the foreseeable.

On a positive note Michael O Leary was interviewed on Irish TV last night and commented on how he admired IAG as being the best run airline in the world, after Ryanair of course.

Anyway, I'm on the sidelines, too much uncertainty for the foreseeable.

I'm here since 2021 and showing good profit even after the latest madness.

Just sold the lot and I'm out. Can risk my retirement on the crazy ranting of this unhinged oaf. Feel much better now that I'm sitting on cash until I figure a way forward. Any advice appreciated. Good luck to everyone.

IAG exposure to middle east is tiny representing just 1-2% of destinations.

The war is well baked into price drop and if some solution is found to Hormuz there should be a rebound.

It's all about oil, for IAG anyway.

I've been in IAG since 2021 when £4 was an aspiration some day. Pleasently surprised by how little the drop was today, was bracing for north of 10%.

Feb 27th, results for 2025. Could have a bit of a run with positive expectations.

Yeah. The blase attitude to carrying guns combined with the macho, trigger happy attitude is something I wouldn't feel comfortable choosing as a destination. Especially at World Cup where people have a few drinks and look crooked or say wrong thing, no thanks
