I get the impression that investors on here are emotionally as well as financially invested in IAG. On the positives it's definitely one of the best run airlines in the world would good institutional ratings. On the negative side it's the mess we're in now with the Messiah in the White House.

I was heavily into IAG, too heavily, but stuck with it as the graph was going up. I stood back 10 days ago and asked myself what the f**K am I at here. At that stage looking at 20% PAPER LOSS, but 120% actual gain. I sold off 85% of my IAG, took my gain, and diversified .

Much less stressful and making reasonable gains with a broader portfolio.

Anyway, that'll be £100 and I need the couch for next patient.

My logic is to shelter with some solid US stocks until mid terms at least when hopefully the Democrats will gain a substantial majority in house and senate and normality might return to things. Otherwise a two year wait. Gamble that $ will gain as well as stocks. I can't handle this madness and running for cover

Yesterday I bought into JP Morgan and Microsoft both in dollars (dollar is at 4 year low). Hoping to get uplift both on share price and dollar increase somewhat.

Until he's gone I'll be looking towards value in blue chips.
