What’s the difference if buying the placement shares at 40p and buying directly yourself if the market price is the same?
I hear people saying they’ve cancelled their placement shares but don’t understand why as I assumed that if you took your placement shares you wouldn’t be charged any fees on top?

@Sharabel I keep hearing this about MM’s manipulating!! Why don’t you just email the FCA. Pretty sure this is against their principle to build confidence in the U.K. market.

So I am told, apparently Boris is doing a Covid update on Tuesday so it may be that it’s then when they announce DF. With all the news leaking to the press today, I think DF is a done deal and hope to hear it definitively by Tuesday

To add to your question @dufry, what do we all reckon will be the price of the shares of a takeout were to happen?

I often see these posts about MM’s stating buys as sells and not accurately reporting trades as they should be, MM’s manipulating the figures etc. If this is so, then why doesn’t anybody report it to the FCA? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I genuinely don’t know why they can’t be reported?

Merchbanker - is it fair to state that the out of the above, the RTC POC test is the deal breaker here. Whilst the agreement with Mologic is good, it’s nowhere Near as profitable as the sales from the POC test. Mologic seem to be selling at a very low price and to nations abroad, which indicates it’s not going to be as nailed on with regards to specificity requirements as those that sell in the U.K.
I think what we’ll make with Mologic won’t be as profitable as we think it may be. Just my opinion but I do hope I am sincerely wrong.

If Vlad had some sort of news, I would assume he would have to declare that formally, otherwise it would be Breach of regulations???

Posti - 100% agree with your comments. I thought the RNS that was issued when we received the speeding ticket was very poorly worded.
The update from Abingdon totally de-risked this share and once design freeze is reached, this will no doubt be flying.

I definitely agree with what you are saying however, I think the CEO should have done a better job at explaining it in the RNS. It’s been very poorly worded and the bluntness has scared off investors.
However, the real take away from this is that he would not have gone onto sky news if we were not close to rolling this out and that gives me a lot of confidence that this will be a game changer compared to lab testing. Hold tight and watch this rise once design freeze has been formally announced.
