@xel123 interested to know how you’ve come to those figures and that conclusion!! Which company in their right mind will even consider touching the book even with a 20% discount. They won’t risk taking on the liabilities hence why the previous buyer pulled out.

Not an expert but could it be that there are a shortage of shares on the market and there may be a big order that needs filling?

Talking about Mergers and Acquisitions, does anybody know whether Shell have interests in Trinidad and Tobago as there is a little know company called TXP which is onto to some big gas and oil finds.

Hillman all I’m saying is, this is ideal for day traders like yourself and LTH should be careful. You’ve got JB who previously thought he could take on FOS and thinking he would be successful, a substantial increase in irresponsible lending complaints and a potential buyer who has pulled out after completing their due diligence. Now I’d rather put my money on the DD of the buyer rather the S**t that comes out of your mouth.

@Kozz you’ve got 9k of backlogged complaints plus the number of new complaints which will be coming in. That is no small number indeed, especially giving that the FCA have only extended for a short period of time. This doesn’t look as straightforward as it seems and will defo cost more than the £35m they said. Sinking ship in my view, that’s why the buyout fell through. Good luck to those investing but anybody new should be wise to the tampers on here

I’m assuming your comments are referring to a sale when you say ‘we are all pushing for it’ but my question would be is why would anybody take on the liabilities associated with a sale when they have 9000 outstanding complaints which the FCA want them to resolve within next few weeks?

I’m new to this share and wanted some info please from the more experienced members of the BB. I’m trying to understand what the risk and reward is with this share at the moment.
I understand that there is a great deal of scrutiny by the regulator and there will be a large amount of redress that will be required. Does the company have enough in the bank to cover that and what is the strategy at the moment giving the fact that there isn’t any new lending being done as well as, what the chances of a takeover happening will be?

No doubt TXP will be on radar for shell in Trinidad and Tobago. They already have a presence there and there is some real opportunity with acquiring smaller oil and gas firms. DYOR

They really have taken on board the advice that investors have been banging on about with regards to Social media presence. Glad to see they are trying to get more awareness of this great product.

I’m not as knowledgable as some on here but from my perspective, look how fast the government acted to back Roche and Abbott tests and they turned out to be w**k. We have a Gold Standard product which will no doubt get PHE approval very soon and will be the UK’s saving grace imo. Time will tell but this has serious legs in outshining anything else that’s on the market.
