By 'boring' you mean careful stewardship of the business, eh. I remember when people thought GEC, was boring, that morphed in to Marconi, which the City scribblers initially loved - we know what happened next..
I said this was value..

To increase US domestic jobs, yes - but the US economy is already close to 'full employment', where is the workforce coming from to do this - particularly if he does deport millions of undocumented migrants. It looks as if we are in for a volatile few years ahead.

That all may not be well here.
This has been mentioned elsewhere. While TET do some manufacturing in Florida, they also need to import raw materials - citrus from South American countries, etc. Any views on a potential impact to the business cone next year.

Thanks for the views folks
What is the rationale behind your Buy case.. The cost of a pint and other items will arguably need to rise sharply.. JDW appears to have over 600 Million in net debt to service, Yes the own assets as well. It looks to me as if pubs are being bleed dry..
That Treatt sold on was lala land. There were also two contributory factors - firstly, ZIRP and secondly multi year very strong earnings growth. The forward multiple is around 19/20 X, that's not a giveaway price by any means. So when posters reference..the previous price, there were circumstances that are no longer around.

Off topic but same sector. Thanks.

How low can it go...
* JDW do now own the freehold on majority of their pubs, however the business still carries a chunk of debt. The net debt figure is in their financial reports.
...
Sellers appear near £5 atm.

The ZIRP era multiple was ludicrous, around 30 X at peak, helped by IHT relief on AIM. It's very difficult to discern where this current downside ends?. Any thoughts..
