You do not have go be a current holder of stock to comment on their boards,I'm sure you are aware of that.
Leapords do not change spots .he was the same at Breamore resources 12-15years ago as he is today.he will issue shares like confetti while not buying any himself ,while picking up a very large salary.how can he be in it with investors when he's hardly invested himself?
I remember being invested in Breamore resources many moons ago when this charlatan was CEO.then in jlp for a while because of the buyout.
So I check in from time to time .I see the man has less than 800k shares himself? I had more than that and my salary is an average 45k a year.
How are shareholders happy with that??
I have no respect for the man but I wish all holders of jlp the best of luck.
A few weeks ago a poster said their target price was 5p within the month(we was 2p at the time)
To which I dismissed the idea.
But if we hit 5p say within 3months I would happily come on here and say they was almost right.
I would also bury my pride and sell at a rather large loss,in the knowledge that there are some great bargains out there right now.
Our sp is not totally down to Ed I agree, the canabis space has been decimated recently, but like all cyclic stocks it will come round again.
I have just found it unacceptable that our NAV has been around 7p for the last 7 years! Also the leap debacle lives long in the memory.
But avextra alone is worth our current sp,probably 3p now and the rest is free so very minimum risk to people investing now.far more upside than down now.
Anyway I don't want to talk this down while we are actually going up for a change .
Morning onsolidground.
It certainly was worth re-reading.
Hard to to disagree with what matt says when he said 30 years ago between 55-60% of hedge funds were invested in the LSE ,now it is only 2%!!!
I'm no sherlock Holmes but with his latest LinkedIn comments I wouldn't be surprised to see an MBO.
It's understandable why he has no faith in the LSE.
Surely he cannot Hope to stay listed after making his feelings known?
He is a smart man I'm sure he has plans .
I agree marlin .just the last 10mins trading alone was outrageous, kinda proves matts point about the market.
I remember being in boohoo from 52p and every now and again that would just drop 10p in one day for no reason (obviously to get people to sell)but within 2 years the sp touched 400p!
This isn't advice to anyone here, but I genuinely see the same type of thing happening here.
There's so much potential for growth here THG is a fantastic business in my opinion.i would urge the short termers to at least look to the next 12 months and I am convinced they will be more than happy 😊.
I am sure he reads these fascinating boards and then cries himself to sleep at night when he sees hurtful things about himself haha.
He's not part of the brown nose market scum.he knows it and they know it.
Maybe he doesn't care because either he plans to take us private so couldn't care less what the corrupt city thinks or I'm sure he has other plans that will ultimately price THG much better than the market dogs ever will.trust our ceo and trust the process.go hard or go home basically.
i completely agree with him and what he thinks about the lse.a bunch of crooks and the reason why some are upping sticks to list in the us,the corruption here is a joke.we was always going to have a correction here it's par for the course.
soon as our sp drops i find the ****ging off of our ceo bizzare?
i mean, i assume those that **** him off have also sold because why **** the ceo off and hang around?
chill ya beans it will all come good here.
rome wasn't built in a day!
Hi bwana.
Just interested to hear your 2p worth.
What do you think more likely to happen here,we sell an arm off like ingenuity maybe?
I would have thought if there was going to be a buy out then we would hear pretty soon .
Whether that be MM with an MBO or the likes of apollo, the higher our sp goes the more they obviously have to pay.any potential buyer will want to get it in cheap as they can.
Just wandered what you thought buddy?
In my experience, our nice steady rise over the last couple of months is down to the market knowing our results in September are going to be good, and if they are good it's not unreasonable to assume we will be around 200p before results land.
The question is,can potential buyers afford to wait that long?
Could MM afford an MBO around that price?
This is all exciting stuff.
This feels like the finale in the good ,the bad and the ugly with the music playing ha.i know,I am showing my age.
Nicely put 100.
Most of us agree we are largely undervalued and one way or another we will start to see a fair value soon.
I just have a feeling we will have some kind large sp moving news before September.
Come on peeps let's refrain from the tit-for-tat bickering.
We are almost descending into the ADVFN board and that is horrendous!
This site was always the go to where new investors could get some quality info in THG.
Let's not put investors of with all the childish arguing.
Fear not everyone.
Ed is working tirelessly (about 10 hours a week) to ensure us shareholders get a good return.
I mean, he's mentioned 50mil MC yet again and VC type 10x returns.
We all know Ed is honest as the day is long ,we can take his word to the bank.
So sit back and relax and watch the money roll in because Ed Is a genius.
Here's a crazy idea.
Maybe we are creeping up because we are so undervalued and because of the lovely update 2 weeks ago?
I shake my head here at the constant chat of us about to be bought out.
Let us grow as a company organically first.we don't "need "to be bought out.
Of course, apollo know we are well undervalued too.let us get to at least 1.50 first before any suitors come sniffing.
This trading mentality winds me up.
This is a fantastic company.just enjoy the ride here.the longer it takes the better it will be for us PIs.
