Unfortunately davey we don't have a history of springing to life here,quite the opposite .

The last 4 or 5 year we have gone from 10p to 2p.

Same goes for the NAV.

But I like anybody else wants to believe that Mellon can breath some life into this POS. He has the contacts I am sure he will obviously benefit let's just hope we all do as well.

I think I will at least take advantage of all this negativity and add tomorrow to lower my average.

It is understandable at the moment with all the uncertainty.

But it will not last and eventually I believe we will rise like a phoenix.

This stock reminds me of a slight of hand card trick.

But we are a fund for crying out loud.

This joke of a fund understands nothing of the words transparency and honesty.

Like most things to do with ffwd/seed,alot does not make sense.

So while mellonhead is trying to accumulate the 40% of shares its in his best interest to keep the sp around where it is.

So at this rate it would take 18 months to 2 years to get 40% of the shares.in that time he would sell something and then announce a new investment. what so he plans after all that the sp will not shift??

It's just weird and bizzare just like from the start it's all smoke and mirrors.

You get the feeling the tide is slowly turning for the longs. squeaky bum time for the shorters.

Out of curiosity,does anyone know the most ashley has payed /bought out a company for?

I imagine the remaining 70% would cost him at least 400mil.

But he likes companies in distress.

Now we have secured funding for at least the next 2 years it will be interesting tonsee where it leaves him. Despite all the negativity on the board ,the funding is a huge relief for all long termers.i am now not too bothered about the day to day sp movements.

Or maybe ashley truly believes there is potential for a massive turnaround here and he makes alot of money that way?

If ashley doesn't bid then I will find that strange.he knew before he bought any stock here that there was no love lost between him and kamani ,so ashley is the last man kamani would have gone to for a loan,and that is how things have played out.

So unless he bids for the other 70% then he will just have to wait like the rest of us for a rise.

It seems is in same position as us small private holders which I find funny.

He either has to buy the 70% out or pipe down and wait/hours for a rise like the rest of us to sell into.

From what I read recently he has 4billion at his disposal so this would be chicken feed for him.

He needs to put up now or shut up.

What price do people think ashley would bid at ?

The constant nafative press on kamani is not good for the company which is why I would like him to step away.

Although it makes me sick that ashley could quite easily make a bid for us yet he refuses to while digging up things from years ago and seemingly making things personal between him and kamani .as I say,thankfully we have funding for the next 2 years sorted now.i have alot of faith in Dan.i am just tired of this spat between kamani and Ashley.he is no better and anyone who thinks Ashley is our saviour is wrong in my opinion.hes a vulture and a penny pincher and he refuses to pay a fair price for ushe wants us for peanuts so it is in his own interests to keep up this vendetta and keep dragging us through the mud.

As a long term holders and genuine investor ,my immediate fears about funding have been eased considerably for a good good of years .I also would like kamani to step away and let Dan get on with it.once we start to see green shoots that Dan's ideas are working then we are off to the races.

But it is not going to happen overnight.

I think in another 12 months we will be leaner and a lot healthier.

So what part of mellonheads 2.2p is fair then reefles when the NAV is 6p??Mellon was around when we got rubbed with moon active.

The track record from the 3 amigos has been terrible and self serving .

Yes it's possible Mellon could find a jem and we all benefit. I have ti believe it because I wanna get out of this nightmare at an ok price.but because me and other long termers have had our fingers burnt her multiple times we are very sceptical to say the least.

Yes CT stop it with the scaremongering,it's not eds fault he lied to us and told us leap gaming was worth over 100mil minimum,I mean after all he was on the board .its not eds fault he lied about leap gaming having an ipo.it was an amazing coincidence that good old Ed said leap was worth over 100mil at the same time his mates mum was dumping her 13million shares on us.

Mellons disgraceful 2.2p says all we need to know about him here.he clearly does not have private investors interests at heart.

I said I was going to sell today but I decided against it.what the hell , I am going to see this through one way or another.

I must say I agree with bfd for what's it's worth.

The constant negative spin on this board from the same few people is dire.its like ok you said its a bad company 10 times today, and yesterday and the day before and every other day before that for months now!!

Jim wanting to buy and cancel 40% of the shares will obviously mean alot less shares in circulation and in theory should be alot better for remaining holders.

Although I cannot possibly see how Mellon manages to accumulate 70-80 million shares in the first place with a pathetic tender offer of 2.2p.

It also took him a good 9 months just to get to his personal 20% of shares so imagine how long it would take to get 40% here?

He obviously doesn't want to release any type of good news while at the same time trying to get shares on the cheap for fear of sending the sp north.

In all my 10years here (nearly all of that being painful) but has also made me cynical and cannot possibly see how he gets these shares without holders getting screwed over.as CTAnalyst has previously said in the past Mellon with a steele company he was involved once he got to 40% of the shares he did a million for 1 share.

Anyone who didn't have a million shares were toast.

It is unscrupulous and immoral but totally legal .we need to be very careful of Mellon.

You touch on the di-minimis advantages which which temu and shein have while obviously us and asos do not.

I completely agree.

Am in right in saying shein latest accounts are over 2 billion in revenue yet only 38 mil profit and thar is with that di minimis advantages?

We also hear of boo unscrupulous work ethics I the press /worker conditions constant press bashing yet shein and temu completely get a pass constantly .

I have heard what working conditions are like in China and they can get away with paying workers a bag of rice it seems a day.

It is annoying us and asos are treated and judged differently

But as an investment the disadvantages are there I am afraid. But we have Debenhams which if we can get that right is our golden goose.

Ashley wants to get his greedy sausage fingers on debs for good reason.

Firstly I have never shorted a stock ,I always invest to hope a company grows and I can benefit so my mind-set is completely opposite to a shorter which is why I believe we see such conflicting opinions on this board/stock

But it seems some of us that have invested have forgot Rule no1 which is to not lose money!!

I have hung in there hoping every day there will be news of a turnaround only to watch my hard earned money vansih before my eyes ,the drop has actually accelerated over the last week.

I kick myself for not jumping at 20pand just watch from the sidelines.

All the bickering is pointless and irrelevant to me but as I said yesterday,the negative press along with later than normal results along with negative sentiment is terrible for any investment.

To make matters worse the boards silence is defening.

I have lost majority of my investment anyway but better to get a bit back than potentially lose it all .boo of course will never see 400p plus again but I do believe some kind of recovery will happen eventually.

But until then 10p looks nailed on and once we dip below 10p is a run for the exit for everyone.

I just want to preserve what I am now I think it is important for us all to remember to protect our capital (from the man who has lost most of it here so far(
