There is zero point buying (or indeed holding) any shares unless or until vanadium pricing rises significantly (just look at the AI costs to see how much is needed.

All this guff about fun raises is about keeping the lights on long enough to hope ....

The only way I would buy back in is if the V-price rises significantly and it actually looks like they might just turn a profit .. otherwise it is all delaying the inevitable

The Q3 results are out any day .... perhaps some misguided souls feel there is 'imminent' good news ... but with no sign of vanadium price rises significant enough to at least cover costs, this is a dead cat bounce. I mean... we had the 'reduceing production and scrapping of EoY targets' a week ago. What is expected eh ?

I suspect this is just the old rinse & repeat game. Could be wrong, but there is nothing right now to see that makes me thing 'buy a chunk and ride the wave'

Nothing .. they are offering nothing ... that is the answer to any of these things.

We look at the possibilities, assess the downside risk, assess the probabilities and make our personal choice where to gamble .. and all investing is a level on the gambling scale from 'very small to probably loose you shirt or 10 bag'

but its enterprise value is around £1.5m .. without the 'big order' it is basically burning cash.... that is the spook.

now i agree ... big order and multi-bag ... but like so many, given the chaotic and pretty amateur ****-show now running the nhs, common sense rather is in short supply and the action will be all about big announcements. whatever way you look at it it, a fdbk order is small beer ...

but i certainly hope it comes .. great product .. so i am just watching and whilst i may miss the start, i won't loose my money

The reason (of course) for the fall will be the mood music change. It is not that the product is not great.. but when the orders might be placed (or not). I am rather more suspecting further out given the mood swing. This does not mean of course all doom.. just a lower re-entry price

It is odd ... on this forum there is a 0.8% short reported (last updated 6 months ago and at the same price as today)

The only thing I can think is perhaps preying on wider investor minds is property valuations. Any significant fall affects the balance sheet, but not the cash flow, profit or return (much of which is indexed and baked in for 3-5 years).

I have been thinking of a bigger long term buy .. but just have this niggle that I don;'t get why the drag, short and heavy discount to NAV .. its like 'what am I missing ?'
