Thanks Ophidian .. not selling anything and when I do it will not be based on systems like Eliott but on my own goals and needs at the time .. long way off yet.

@Ninvestor .. hope so, but lets not forget Ophidian has a way with the tea leaves and runes that is elliot ... if the pattern follows we should swing to circa 33/34 and then a drop back. Just looking at the charts with the LT MA's seems a possibility of falling back to 28/29 before a big upswing... following the general Elliot pattern

I guess my query might be that Elliot looks to 'predict' (in a very loose way, or indicate may be better) crowd behaviour and that seems to me to be in a generally rational and at least moderately stable market. We are in neither. The major world markets are at that tipping point of a big correction and there is still the variable political uncertainty in SA (improvements yet to really be seen).

Of course, I could be talking complete Bol****s and giving Ophidian a good chuckle ... the more I read about it, the more confusing it seems !

@Daisydog .. Fortune has a little over 20M shares currently directly and through his joint holding with AV ... I doubt he will be going anywhere any time soon given how much they should be worth in 3-5 years.

I think the next assessment is December for Jan entry ... If memory serves it is the close price 4 mondays prior to entry (so somewhere between 3rd-10th Dec)

Following Squirty's Morning star post (never though of doing this before), I have updated the share tracker to show known significant holders. There may well be inaccuracies ... but broadly I suspect will be about right.

Just for interest .... Some interesting stats:

PI's 136 with 260,881,151 (23.51%)
Funds, IIs, Directors and Others - 344,243,349 (31.04%

Total = 54.53% of Bushveld controlled by around 163 entities

Of those confirmed...
Top 25 holding 171,922,495 with an av holding of 7M (3.5 M if top 10 excluded)
Next 50 holding 65,772,273 with and av holding of 1.3M
rest holding 21,184,284 with and av of just under 350K

Other PI date (probably out of date) - 184,835,550 (78 holders) (16.65%)

So approx 71% of the total shares in issue is nominally controlled by 241 entities. - rather supporting the need for greater liquidity (but not entirely convinced a JSE listing will achieve this)

good find Squity .. the total funds listed and IIs (excluding todays 15M) amount to 8.4% of the stock

interesting read ... needs a lot of investment ... and much of Bushvelds cash will go on developing brownfield, Mokopane, Brits and Vametco further.

well @ninjamagic ... if you follow the production forecasts and a fair (if stretching) view of vanadium pricing then you could get this as a SP in 3/4 years ... assuming that the substantial discount on SA investments is reduced significantly or eliminated.

We do whine on about how the SP is not right or a fair reflection ... but SA still has considerable investment risk. Yes, Ramaphosa made clear that investors would be protected from all the asset grabbing (except he has already managed to grab 30% for cronies (as none of it goes to the communities)

SA is still a high risk country to invest in, but that risk is palpably starting to reduce now there seems to be (finally) someone half competent at the helm

£10.89 is one heck of a target ... but it is not out of the realms of possibility

where does £3.50 come from SotRR ? .. just curious

@mrremmy .. that is so true .... why is it Warren Buffet says 5-10 stocks max .. its because it is a lot of work researching, reviewing, reading and listening ...
