yes ... the aspiration of Ramaphosa to clean up corruption translates in Africa to curbing the excess and not making it too obvious.

All the western wet libtards banging on about colonialism and rights for African democracy just don't get it.. Africa is a tribal society with a chief (now called president) ... everything else is just flavours and illusion for the slavering masses.

But Ramaphosa is at least competent and the best of a bad ANC turdpile. I have a lot of hope he will at least curb it all and bring much needed investment to SA changing the lives of so many in the process.... we just do not need to discount to make the anointed few even richer IMO

the main problem Alfa, is that fuel cells need very very pure hydrogen - that costs a great deal of energy to refine. Whole thing is a gimick.

More 'dirty' Hydrogen done using a 1/2 stage electrolysis process can get up to 99% pure with the rest being mainly oxygen and nitrogen .. perfectly fine to fuel generators. Was some work about 10 years or so on creating it and storing to power/load balance but was really only at research/demo stage.

May as well put a ruddy great VRFB in place and trickle charge (at 50KW), then run the EV DC chargers off that

@I-H - the core-satellite-model is great if you don't have the skills to analyse and understand stocks, funds, or whatever.

Alfa - I could see one stack working if the power manager routed incoming power straight out, but from an efficiency point of view I am not sure its that great.

If power could be added and taken at the same time out of the same stack that would be great but not sure I can see how that would work .. anyway .. be a great question to ask and an even better idea (single or double stack) one to field try
