Great post jurado and you make some good points.I invested in this one at 15.62p and called the then bottom. It went to 20p and I have only been casually following it since.I best put a stop loss at 9p just for capital protection. I hate sitting on a dwindling SP. With a bit of luck the turnaround story starts before it hits my stop-loss.

but the fall in the SP is starting to look infectious. Any more falls and I intend to have my investment wound down. Gutted really as I was up about 30% at one stage and now am about 50% down. I feel stitched up.

Is this one a Road Runner? Or just coyote ugly? I can't see this one falling off a cliff. I think some Wile E investors are already in. I am thinking about accumulating a stake here myself while watching out for value traps. Any one else in here? I love these quiet boards.

say that the q3 production figures are late. If they are bad they certainly should have been put out there. Just as the disruption to the Mill should have been. If they were very good then ditto on the release. I can only surmise they are holding back for some announcement or else waiting for a slot from Gok Wan to make the production figures ten years younger. If the numbers are underwhelming then they should announce the share buy-back is going to commence immediately FOR CANCELLATION which would be a mirror for the announcement. Then all we would need is some smoke.

Yes and the company did issue a PW due to poor winter weather iirc. Given the yield etc it seems worth a punt at this level as the company recovery seems enough on track not to come off the rails due to one poor quarter. Anything below 80p seems a bargain to me.

Excellent post TT. I have never got to grips with DKL's pricing structure and asked again at the AGM about it.. I might be confounding cause and correlation but the SP of DKL was going swimmingly until there was a decoupling of the price charged for produce and the Official CIF price. It should be in my scribbled report of the AGM but the terms are based on CIF price in Rotterdam and quality. They sift the FFB on the floor of the reception area is what was described to me at the AGM. Rugs was quite forensic about the supply issue and we were categorically assured that there was no issue and it seemed to the board inconceivable that there would be one. The latter is my interpretation of their response which was sketchy but firm. I think TT you might be looking at CPO too much through the prism of supply. The beauty of CPO is that there is not enough supply to meet demand.DKL have been a long time growing their own nurseries and although only about 6% of production currently this will accelerate. You make a good point about the COOP but DKL have been clever in subsidising farmers for fertiliser etc which a CO-OP might not do. Morning Phil, I may be wrong but these quarterly update are not mandatory in the sense that iterims and finals are. There was a move recently to move to twice a year updates on AIM in general as the quarterlies can distort reality and perhaps make companies stage-manage the figures. I did raise the matter at the AGM two years ago when I asked for timely release of the figures. The board are aware of the impact on investors and potential investors of delayed production figures. My criticism would be if they know the figures are going to fall short that the company should not fire-fight all the time. Pre-emptive action should take place by extending factory hours, opening weekends or adding trucks. Whatever it takes to get the production figures up at this stage. There is no room for slippage or slipperiness. The company should not use flattering comparatives to last year's weak q3 for example in this year's update. I hope they are working on some announcement. I suppose if you are working on a deal it might be good to hold back your performance report so you don't give leverage to the company you are bidding for. Or maybe we have had a second successive q3 of underperformance. it will be a feast or a famine,

Hi Troubling, Actually it appears it is 1.65 NOk per share which is just over 15p. It is about 4.62 Million which I am sure you will deem expensive. Remember they will have an equity partner or else they may just buy a stake. I am grateful to Smartlikeafox who posted the below. Looks like this one has gone into hibernation Jolly.! Some sub 80p sales today which means to me that some people can't see the wood for the trees. And we all know what bears do in the woods! I think I will be all over this like bees to a honeypot if the fall continues. You make a good point about foreign exposure Jolly but as Teresa has firmly hung her knickers over stimulating housebuilding, I am sensing an open goal and diving right in like a bum at a wedding feast.

Philpot has found some change down the back of his couch. I hope DKL make him declare :) Not very much out of line with recent trading. It may be an act of great serendipity however as we have witnessed before very fortunate purchases and sales in advance of news on DKL.
