Morning Totalnew. I agree with you agreeing with me. I certainly don;' think it has been mentioned before and certainly not at the AGM when we were doing some forensic probing about supply. Clearly it was hinted at in the RNS. Why the hell didn't they declare it in the RNS as some mitigation? It might have tempered some of the fall. If it wasn't yet finalised, then delay the RNS on production until it was. They had delayed it long enough for window-dressing anyway. I can only assume they though the market would be impressed with the ole rabbit out of a hat. Mesmerising! 81 Days since the promised Biopalm holdings Update and still nothing done.

Morning both. I agree strongly with you both. The company are very good on initiatives. Clearly where they are weak is in being pre-emptive rather than reactive. Another positive of course is they can do this from the get-go with Guitry and possibly retro-fit Norpalm Ghana if the bid is successful. They are not alone in AIM in doing this but I notice they tend to time RNS annoucements around media puff pieces instead of releasing news to the market and then marketing it.. Phil, Cat and I will be chuffed to see a renewed focus on the production numbers. I feel slightly renewed this morning.

Good point Phil. It might then well be a possible non-declarer which DKL seems to have on its books. I have been totally confused since an early AGM when we were told three funds were on board and only Miton have come to light. Another example is Nabuke I remember them being RNs'd in but don't recall ever seeing a notification if this has changed. Could be wrong on that of course..

Afternoon pimpin. I think the currency boost had spooked some investors who didn;t want to end up cleaned out on this one next year. Buys are at full ask so it wouldn't surprise me to see a move to 275p or 280p on the ask in short order. The fact that there is no special divi after two years of having one might also have been a bellweather for some holders. I am not selling any. There is the EDA submission withina month which should set the clock ticking again for approval late April/early May for enrty to the States. France, a notoriously difficult market for non-nationals has just got approval and there are expansion plans in India and Japan. I am looking forward to the dividend just before xmas and will use it to buy more shares. Today seems a good entry point to me.

Good post Phil. As I said they were rarthe rincredulous at the AGM when asked about supply. We were told it would not be a problem. I don't know which lever would work best. Whether it is more trucks or the pruchase of a base further afield for truckes or whether to sacrifice margin and pay more for supply or to extend the operational hours of the Mill so you max out production with what you currently receive. The margin for error went with the latest q3 numbers. A second poor quarter no matter how it is spun will be hammered mercilessly. Time for some pre-emptive management action rather than sitting on hands and hoping for good numbers.

partially explains why we fell below 10p. Is it Miton or Dumper Dude? Certainly is a sizeable exiteer. I suppose in boxing terms DKL is on the ropes and punches are araining down from all angles.

and last trade was a sale at 9.57. The volume of trades is pretty low which makes the fall even more disappointing. Revnue held up reasonably well in q3 so now might be an opportunity to exercise the right they were given at the AGM to step into the market. Although we are told Biopalm have restrictions on their share sales from December to ensure they keep an orderly market, I don't think they will be too pleased to see the value per share of their holdings go from 13.2p to 9.75p in 9 months.Another fly in our fly-laden ointment at the moment.

Yes and falling further today which is more disappointing. Mach100 has posted it is best to wait fo confirmation of a puff piece. Lincoln usually does one and it would be good if he could flesh out on the strategies they have in mind to avoid a repeat of q3. But it would be no surprise if on this occasion he kept his head down.

Took a bit longer than I expected. Interims are November 7th and I expect we will see �35 by then. The momentum since �27.50 has been huge.

Afternoon TT, thanks for your considered post. Your wary eye was timely indeed. I do think you paint an over-pessimistic picture which means there is an opportunity for the brave here. That said if you are are right about being boxed in there certainly is an issue. The company recently divested itself of a partner so i can;t see them going back to teaming up with another one. Perhaps they are guilty of trying to run before they can walk. The company has had shots across its bows by investors about it being leaky in advance of news. Tbf there was a largish buy on Friday which made me suspect that perhaps good news was on the way or some media interest. I do like your more optimistic last line about it being a long-term play TT. It sure is and if it doesn't go bust from over-stretching itself it will go at a very good premium. Updates like today certainly make investor question the board's credibility. They have both damage limitation to undergo as well as some bridges to build. They may want to paint it as industry wide and a hazard of the agri-economy. But us investors know there are things that can and must be done better. Your dry eye is very welcome here TT even if your arrival has come laden with some black clouds.

Tricky come back in here and be the new gathering guy and later dumper dude. 10.25p on the bid now which porves Phil's point that to sell out rashly very often doesn't pay. However we could still have a death spiral as people start to lose faith, get bored or look for safer homes. Investor relations certianly have taken a knock today. This should be right in a growth cycle from a low base. Now with three quarters of the year gone we are playing catch up.

Good spot Phil. To be fair the company are quite creative on initiatives. We would probably have halved today if it wasn't for PKO and their foresight in running PKO production in tandem with CPO. The next peak season is five and a half months away so plenty to time to get a shimmy on. I don't know if going further afield to get supply would help. I am also unclear what initiatives they could do that would mitigate against such poor numbers. To be fair the storage has helped as sales have continued to be in line. However LJM's 'finessing of sales' is puff of the highest order. If we keep having production figures like the last quarter then there won't be anything to finesse with!

Very good point Phil and when they promise something as simple as updating holdings on their website and they don't deliver then it actually beggars belief. I think most of us LTH are in the same boat. Clinging on in the hope of better times around the corner. Yes the market has over-reacted to one poor quarter but it will always be thus in the commodity sector. I will be thankful if dumper dude doesn't go nuclear and also if we finish above 10p on the bid. I don't understand why strategically companies go for expansion when your core is not functioning correctly. The other matter they need to focus on is how to maintain a progressive dividend. You can spin us investors any kind of spoof you like around holdings updates and outlook but the market will eventually catch up with you. Cutting dividends is like death with a 1000 cuts.

Tricky gutted to see you go. You won't be the only exiter here sadly as the SP takes a buffeting. I am not selling as I think they can recover from this. But even then there will be sellers into strength like Dumper Dude does. I hope you continue to post here and may be when the issues get fixed we will see you back invested, Hope the place you move your money to works out better.

Well the market is merciless Phil. We are too fledgling to have any room for slippage. And you get punished accordingly. It is the second successive poor Q3 so although there may be something in what TT says, it looks like we are at the mercy of more than just year. With diversification we won't be so vulnerable I guess but these low production figures will not help to fund that diversification. No better day than today for some concert buying by our board who have options for shares at 12.5p and 20p. Considerably cheaper today to buy in the market. :(

Nicely summed up Total. Those who were offloading in the lull before release have done well. Oddly enough the company haven't reverted to saying Q4 has started well which could be said to be their default position after a poor quarter. Time for the board to roll up their sleeves and earn their corn.

No real window dressing by the company but I see DKL have adopted a politician's stance. When something goes wrong it is a global issue and outwith their control. When something goes right then it is always company or person specific. There are some positives here I supposse in the prices though I still don;t understand how they structure it. And while production is down sales are only marginally down. Really time for the company to get a grip. Let us see what happens on the bell.

Looks like this one is being driven down post the updates. Good news for me as I want to add some more before the next sea change in investor sentiment. Very undervalued.

in the drop. Hopefully we have a more stable bear now which might stop the fur flying among investors. There seems honestly more upside than downside at this level given we were as high as 92p on the ask two months ago. Unless the next update is the bearer of some bad news admittedly.

through support of 12p;. Quite a few sellers in the last two days possibly brought on by the news lull. I am trying to figure out if there is any learning for DKL on delaying production figures and the corresponding SP Performance. Can't quite put my finger on it. 75 days since promised Biopalm holdings update and no change.
