Only just checked today after being out for the work Christmas lunch. Drowning sorrows from this morning at 57p but surprised to see a blue day in the end. Never dull with Sareum. Makes weekend slightly cheerier. It’s a long road back to the heady days of 9p old money but Tim and John have lost way more than me.
Will read the remainder of todays chat when slightly more sober.

Yip things not going well.
I remember sitting by a pool in April in Lanzarote and this smashed through £3 (old 6p) and was heading north following news of GSK takeover of Sierra. Might never see those figures again
Seems like 2023 will be make or break.
I too am consoled that Tim and John have lost way more than me as this has plummeted this year and hope this turns around for all invested here. No-one on these boards knows but it is nice to be able to share views as long as done with some courtesy.

My Halifax share dealing show 0.808

I want to say something like 1.73p in old money

I double the current share price then shift the decimal point so £1 in new money is 2p in old money, £2 in new money is 4p in old money, £3 is 6p and so on

Here since Feb 2011 - started at 3,76p old money saw it down to 0.29 and up to 9.75p. Sold enough to cover my purchase back in the heady summer of 2021 and now regret not selling more.
Very disappointed this evening and wondering how much poorer I am going to be this time tomorrow. Not going anywhere but hope this focusses some minds in Pampisford. As long as the science remains sound we have a chance. Some director buys would be very nice too.

Got 5k in at 0.33 this morning. Nice to own over a million shares i something again as I did in sar before consolidation.

My tuppence worth fwiw.
Invested back in 2011 so not all LTH have made fortunes as price then was 3.76 p in old money and took a few years to work its way down to 0.28p. Anyone buying in around 2015/16 may well still be many multiples up at todays price.
Thankfully I did average down over the years though wish more and of course wish sold in August 2021. I didn’t as like others I hoped for another doubling in share price to nearer the mythical 28p and life changing money so no point have any regrets now.
Many concluded here that GSK spending so much on buying Sierra meant they were going to advance 737 which the last week has shown is not the case for whatever reason.
Poor PR is nothing new and I still cling to the hope that Tim and John are losing way more money each day than me at the moment and literally millions since last year.
If someone offered a measly £600 million I’d def deal.

A further roller coaster from the big rises of last week reaching briefly 237 and now 160.
Not the news we had hoped would come regards 737 certainly.
Long term holders may still be in profit but nowhere near as much as back in August 2021.
Could be a long road back if we ever do

Still cling to fact that Tim and John have a much, much greater paper loss and hope therefore that they know those prices of summer 2021 will return and even go higher.
Tough when nearly 6k down today and it’s not even lunchtime.

Seems a fair bit of positivity on the bb despite us dropping 50% in just over 2 months.
It’s certainly been a rollercoaster from the lows in 2020 to £4.75 (old 9.5p) summer 2021, £1.25 early this year, back over £3 late April and now £1.77. If only I could have traded through them.
Some positive news soon would be very welcome.

I was just thinking about that but couldn’t remember who posted.
Certainly been a better few months for Sierra share price wise than us but perhaps the last week is a change for good and the days back in the old 2p are gone for good this time.

FWIW - I used Halifax at end of March and then again last week to do the BED and ISAZ. Very smooth. Had to do manual trades both times due to large spread but all went through very promptly and professionally.
the only positive of the huge drop from 9.75p has to be allowing me to do this with my holding (30k at new average of 72p) as thought I’d missed the chance and never fully understood tbh. Thanks to posters on here managed to investigate and make it happen. Hopefully it’ll be a big tax saving when we hit the old 28p. GLALTHs

Don’t understand most of it
If only 18 of 107 died during the 3 years of the trial and they all had a form of advanced cancer at the beginning of that period hopefully that is positive although not sure how that can be explained fully. I.e down to SRA737 or other factors
