Got in here about this time last year having dad about BOIL on SAR board where I normally am.

starter at 0.33 and have watched it go lower and lower but feel there is something here and have averaged down ever since so even a return to 0.33 would give me some profit. GLALTH

Have wondered myself how things would work , even with technology these days, between Pampisford and Oz. Hopefully all our money won't end up in the pockets of BA and Qantas

My tuppence worth as holder since 2011 is it does seem a strange and complicated fund raise rather than to do a placing.

Who would have advised Tim and John on this approach?

They stand to lose a fortune if predictions of 20p become reality at least on paper anyway.

It also comes at a point where we are close to news of trials which likely will make or break things. Could we not have waited for positive news before then announcing this funding?

I dream of a monster RNS tomorrow morning of ph1 trial but frightened to look tbh.

Another day and another couple of grand wiped off my share valuation. Still hold 30000 shares - 1.5m pre consolidation.

My only consolation is that Tim and John are seeing a lot more wiped of theirs

As I sit in same hotel in Lanzarote as this time last year I can’t help but ponder that we smashed through £3 then.

I was very smug last April when I managed to place most of mines into an ISA, then watched in a few weeks as we sailed through £3 following GSK purchase of Sierra.
Alas I am not as smug now.

Again I love the positivity in your post Brighty and if SAR are bought for £1 billion I'm on the first round when hopefully we get together.
Surely with all these deals it's about how much above the current share price is paid by the purchaser. We would need someone to pay 13 times current market cap for that.
Realistically is anyone going to do that when we could be bought for a much smaller multiple.
We need to get back to old 7-8p as we were in summer 2021 and a market cap into the few hundred of million before the next leap to the billions

All your points def give cause for optimism. The BOD did impress and ease my concerns at the AGM l.
I do remain hopeful and here with my 30,000 shares for a good while longer.
Taken a few blows in the last year so nice to see some blue days for a change. Let’s hope 2023 is another 2021 in terms of sp gain and progress in the science to hrlp those who need it most.

Love the positivity Potnak but we are still awaiting the CTA to get into phase 1 hence why, despite today being a good one, we are around £1 having been over £3 just 8 months ago.
P3 seems a very very long way away.

The buyout figure of over a billion would be great for based on our current Market Cap but if we were already valued at half a billion like Cincor it's not as impressive a buy out.
If someone offered us a billion in San Fran I'd tell Parker to accept

Def seems positive though surely what is relevant is how much above the current share price of Cincor that Astra Zeneca are actually paying. Sadly that is not 20 times more.
At the same rate by my rough calculations it would be someone paying just over £2 per share for us.
