Good morning all.If One buys BHP between now and 1st September,does one qualify for the dividend....even if they then sell on the 3rd September?

@Lochinvarlass,thanks for trying to help. Ultimately I suppose I’m asking when we can hope to see an increase in the sp.I think I confused the xd date with when the div got paid,and then the price rose and fell by about 30p or so......I think

Those who study this share ( as opposing to just holding with fingers crossed like me ) ....should we expect to see a jump up on Thursday as it’s the ex div date ?

How exciting,is the qualifying date 2nd September?Please excuse all stupid questions....as no doubt there will be more.All I know is Glenda is the way to go.Had I split what I put into BP last year with Glenda,I would have been laughing instead of crying.

Good morning all.I only bought into Glenda a week ago.Could someone advise when the next dividend will be paid?Of course I googled it,but cannot make sense of the info.
