Marstons Pubs and Inns acquired a green field site in Whitby, getting planning approval for a Pub and Hotel in April 2014

Marstons PLC have a raft of company's , property holders to retail. It is possible, but very unlikely IMO, that a 3rd party purchased the Green field site pre 2014, therefore on all available knowledge the Pub and Hotel is owned by Marstons, who are constantly liquidating assets. Selling the Freehold and retaining a long lease will not breach the retention of Pubs Agreement made with Carlsberg in 2019.

It is worthy of note Premier Inn have a Motel very close to the Whitby site.

Platinum were virtually ignored by Ralph Findlay who was pre-occupied in saving Brains from certain administration and obsesed with creating a larger Pub empire. An Empire embrassing a bunch of run-down Welsh Pubs that had not been properly surveyed when the deal was agreed by RF. Co-incidentally Platinum had made an in itial offer for Marstons. That approach was not communicated to Shareholders for almost a month.

Do'nt expect Platinum to return now a succession of CEO's have sold off valuable parts of the Estate.

Saluc the new board had a bum hand to play, whereas Shishir had deliberately manipulated funds and assets to enrich himself.

You were a supporter of Shishir and still refuse to accept his misdoings concluding better leadership would have avoided dilution. You have completly ignored Shishir's refusal to release finacial data his company controls. Information he would have refused to provide Auditors who were attempting to complete accounts almost a year ago, when he ( Shishir) was in charge.

When Shishir's activities are fully known, he could face being barred as a Director of any company .

Do'nt expect an apology from Shishir, he has cut and run. Lets hope he is caught and feels the full weight of the Law.

Difficult, if not impossible for the New board to make apologies at this moment in time as they are embroiled in investigating the mis-doingings of the previous Directors, and would not want to compromise actions,Legal and Corporate, that are bound to flow, eventually.

The web of deceit will slowly become clear to even those supporters of Shishir, who have gone very quiet.

If, the asset value of properties is without charges, where are the VC's who could easily cash in? More than doubling their money in quick order!

SH's should be aware, under Ralph Findlay's leadershire the company was heavily over borrowed, hence his (RF) decision to sell off a large share of the brewery at virtually any cost.

The asset value is only cosmetic. The main reason why Predators are hiding is the Former JV agreement with Carlsberg. Marstons are required to retain at least 50% of Pubs as recorded when the Agreement was completed. This undertaking was carried over when Marstons sold the remaining 40% of the Brewery

Cyber.. recognise your comments regarding FCA, do'nt forget should the Board or Audititors uncover Fraudulent activities the SFA could and should prosecute those responsible.

The New Board, providing they have the balls, can institute Proceedings to recover mis apprpriated funds and assets. That could be a long drawn out process, but is available. The Board could also apply an Injunction to freeze assets of a person under Claim. A Claim would need to provide evidence that "on the balance of probabilites" would succeed. That procedure would definately Focus Shishir's mind.

There is another action which could be more easy to undertake..... cancel the exceptional number of shares Shishire has awarded himself. There are probably other actions that could be put in place to influence matters Shishir has had a direct responsiblity, which was not in the interests of Ordinary shareholders.

The new Board should be investigating thoroughly supplies made to PRANAGRAF, a private limited company fully controled by Shishir Poddar. It is concieable product from TGR has found it way to Pranagraf as a gift. Some of us has suspected for some time a very unhealthy connection between TGR and Pranagrf.

It must be fully investigated and exposed. Any irregularities, by you know who, needs to be severely punished.

Apart from a CEO the CFO is the most important post in any Company. They will know more about a company's Finances, performance etc than anyone. The current CFO will have been in post just over 4 years come her Leaving, having a total of 22 years service with Marstons. Having spent such a long time with one company it is difficult to believe a move now is purely Career progretion?

Is Shishir under Regulatory Investigation, Criminal and otherwise? His actions, as demonstrated by obstructing access to Corporate records bears testatment to his deliberate intention to control assets, products etc. Anyone here who cannot now see the kind of calculating individual Shishir was/is, should think again. He is a Rogue of the first order.

It could end with someone going to Gaol and being stripped of their assets to re-emburse TGR

Funds are defineately required. Normal cash burn and not forgetting the Pensacola contribution which is around £1m as I recall.

Any severance for Swindells could add to the cash drain.

Suspect the New team have and are uncovering misdoings which will involve file(s) being sent Law enforcement Agencies, both Financial and Criminal.

Remember, Shishir's external company had/has control of Financial data, which he has refused to release

Little by little the new team are ridding the company of the crook that is Shishir. Just a sadness that those who supported the deposed CEO, did not see the light many months ago.

The rules on ISA accounts can be complex and likely to change again soon, hence suggesting a read of the HMRC site. Most individuals have different tax positions, however by and large Tax retained in another territory can be claimed as relief against the liabilty in the UK. My Accountant has done it for years without any problem.

The dividend payer should provide a certificate identifying the amount of tax withheld. HMRC have reciprocal agreements with most Foreign Territories which allow UK taxpayers to claim Relief, on dividends/interest earned outside of the UK . where tax is deducted.

Happening would question what HL say. Ii have always paid into my account on the date the company states. Funds come from the same Territory to every Broker.
