If as suggested this is a merger, Majid and Co will be inline for lucrative Posts. If the cash gereration of I3e is the fundamental reason for GTE's offer, it says little for their position going forward, moreover why ca'nt I3e utilise those funds to benefit existing shareholders . GTE have spotted an opportunity to acquire a producer that has cash flow projections that it (GTE) can pick up when the SP is at a virtual low.

The offer including New Shares may seem attractive , however being an American/Canadian Co , is unlikely to list on LSE.

The deal could be better, much better. If the current offer is rejected GTE are unlikely to walk away and who knows others may come forward. At the current SP level there is little to lose.

Small Oilers have always been high risk investments with conversely potential High rewards. Those who were here when just a NS E&P and the traumas investors suffered, were in majority of cases pleased to see the adventure into Canada, which has shown to be a very good and rewarding investment... dividends and the tremendous opportunity for growth. This in my opinon was made possible by the skills and knowhow of Graham Heath and his brother. Majid was a NS man and not sure his heart was in the Canadian Mission, Graham was the driving force.

Not sure it has yet been published, it will be interesting to see, IF the GTE deal goes through, what Golden Handshakes are granted.

The whole scenario has a very nasty smell. Everyone has choices and even though my investment will just be in credit, it is not a deal that gives me comfort.

Depending on territories in which Company's operate and the relevant Government's allowable write-downs , a wearable asset can be written of in 5 or 10 years. There are/have been times when Central Governments, to generate growth, have allowed 100% write off within 1 year of purchase.

It is by and large a Practice to reduce Tax liabilty. Machinery assets will always retain a value even though accounts show otherwise.

Machinery values will have been depreciated as against it;s purchase cost. Normal Accountancy practice within allowed Taxation rules. Depending on state of repair, machinery could be worth more to a willing buyer(s)

The BOD are required to present Shareholders with any offer made, but not obliged to recommend such offer. More often than not when the market becomes aware a company is up for offer, other Companies come in. It is rare for the first offer to be the final one. This may break that thiking especially as the BOD have recommended, which is very strange given the unrealistic value GTE have offered. Good for them and bad for us.

Genghis tend to agree. Shareholders do not know the terms of Loans recently undertaken. We can be very sure the funders are not fools and will have linkage to the Company's assets.

Shishir may be a good Geologist whatever, his corporate management skills are appalling.

Just look at the current suspension due to Non compliance with accounting protocols, a situation replicated from 2023, but worse. In 2023 the shares were suspenended for a couple of days.. Shishir has learnt nothing so how can he be serving shareholders well??

Until he admits his shortcomings and hands the reigns to people more capable, shareholders will be out of pocket, even Shishir himself a significant shareholder.

Partially true. Sea water can only be used if de-salinised, which is not without cost. Whereas natural gas can be used to produce Blue Hydrogen which can then be mixed with Green Hydrogen. A major obstacle in producing Green is the high cost and reliance on available electricity required for the electrolysis process.

Several issues Shell will need a Natural Gas feeder stock. Have Shell, because of Political uncertainty abandoned a opportunity to make such and investment on the East Coast of UK? Is, as likely, Milliband ignorant of the development even though he shouts loudly about Green energy and Energy Security for the UK.

Production was at a virtual standstill because of NO Fuel. Along comes a Knight in Shining Armour with £50K, Bingo lets buy fuel. Never seen so much incompetence, and still no sign of accounts and re-listing. The Knight in Shining Armour will have conditions in place to protect his investment, doubt he will accept Shishir's offer of shares in conversion of the LOan.

Shishir reminds me of another CEO in a different Industry, who avoided taking advice from knowledgable Financiers and Business-people, raised funds from Shareholders, injected large amounts of his own capital. That company eventually failed all because of the "pig-headedness" of the CEO.

I can see similarities here.
