The current Political uncertainty is likely to persuade Explorers/Producers, from committing long term funds into the North Sea. Labour's declared aim to cease Hydrocarbon use/production by 2030 will be striking terror into Investors. The Greens want to curtail any use of Hydrocarbons by 2025 and we are all to become Vegetarians on the basis production of red meat produces greenhouse gases. The Green's position is at complete odds with a report released by the Sustainable Food Association in collaboration with Cranfield University. The report concludes replacing meat production with fruit and vegetable, for dietary needs will INCREASE gas emissions by 21%.
The uncertain behaviour of the Electorate, who are being encouraged to place a cross, using false and misleading information, leaves most if not all investors in a dilemma which will be clear on 13th December, a Friday. It could be a day when stocks will either rocket or plumb depths not seen since the Banking Crisis.
Local Oilers, are imo at risk, prices could explode or implode.
The next 5 weeks are going to be interesting for Investors.
In so far as Arden's valuation, if it is half right we should be at 300p minimum.
