Thanks for your input and links....hope others have considered!
Even though remuneration committees apply certain comparitors, I have been cynical, not just here but elsewhere,. The process can, and I do emphasise , can be skewed As an example another small O&G explorer who has pretentions towards production, awarded it's Execs a 64% increase in salary last year. Soon after this award a Major Oil co walked away from a JV agreement. Not sure many investors were aware for sometime of the award.
This type of investment (small O&G) is risk based unfortuenately some do not read the "Health Warning" and as we see have run out of patience. I have at times vented my concerns however am still very aware this type of investment can take a long time to come good. I have seedling investments elsewhere which require periodic funding but are unlikely to come good , if at all, for 5-7 years.
In a similar way these small O&G co's are much the same. It is all about risk and reward, and Patience which seems to be in short supply.
As for mention of getting involved with another Production Outfit, that could end up with Shell suing us for all our cash.
Shell have the expertise we do not, so any talk of going alone is a non starter.
It may hurt, but investors should remember COVID has/is having dramatic effects on virtually every business , large and small.
