Roger jolly prob not getting in at .4 now. Mcap could shoot up to 50m in no time once the reserves are confirmed and the oil is coming out. Might need another 2 wells just to be sure. 1 in July and 1 in Sept. Christmas in sossidgeland if it comes off.
SP Guess. I would be taking out my stake £ at 0.2 and leaving the profit to run --providing things are progressing to plan. Otherwise will be crying in my fruit and fibre. - again. O/T whilst we a re waiting for Beacon to illuminate--having fun on HE1 Jolly? i've seen some of the posts. I bought them at 0.2 and sold out too early but made a nice profitanyway, would be interested again at around 1p but not until maybe august--too much time between now and then. Think there is a better risk/reward here, so too TXP and ZPhr over next couple of months than HE. Time will tell.
Dunno what happened to my post yesterday. posted before 3.00pm--anyhow I gave it a 7.5/10 successful drilling of the sidetrack.
New driller--previous one has to take some culpability for the mistakes.
Improved formation information to inform the drill plan.
Shallow angle diversion from the vertical
Target position far enough away from the mud ingress zone but not too far so as to miss the oil bearing zone.
Driller needs to be on steroids to keep his bl**dy wits about him and identify any signs of lost circulation.
Mud engineer needs to be on top of his game- heavy enough to keep the cuttings flowing freely to surface and not to heavy to put added torque and reduce the WOB.
The sidetrack has risks of course but it is a very common event, no reason why it wont be a success. The amount of oil flowing is IMV another story. Anything around 300bbls plus on a steady rate would be OK by me, it would encourage further field development and go a long way to finance it. If the sort of figures mentioned by the company are to be believed then happy days. Once they start--there wont be a lot of time for speculation or pontification. It will be either in or out around 2 days after drilling starts-hopefully we will get a regular update every couple of days via X or wherever they do their comms. I think the minion shareholders deserve that. Soon be April
If its an issue then the company should be approached for clarification. i.e do both statements mean the same thing but worded differently or has the 'actual' reimbursement proven to be less than the 'expected'
Personally I'm not really too bothered as both say pretty much the same thing that most of the costs are covered.
"When the crowd is selling, if the fundamentals are sound. Now is the time to be buying..."
He means the real fundamentals--debt, income, profit, political stability, long term foreseeable demand, good BOD, history of continued growth. Not a bunch of theoretical data and opinion from non specialist PI's gibbering on a bb. Currently there are no 'fundamentals' of the type WB would be considering.
Placing will be around 1p next time around. More drilling is needed, topsides handling and method of distribution is required. RNS was overall not too bad but it's all a long way from monetization. Pi's will pay for the journey. Anyone in profit should cut, run and come back in the lazy hazy days, enjoy the summer, keep taking the tablets and wonder at the mysteries of life. Jump across to bce, txp, zphr or axl. Make some coin and come back when the time is right. 1p or thereabouts. Hey, just an pinion, right.
Seems OK to me. Pure helium play, production under its own ability, already talking about surface facilities for production and offtake agreements. Trouble is the EWT will inform the basis of design--its a long way off in terms of PI's wanting instant gratification and so the SP will no doubt drop and then drift over the coming months.
As I mentioned a couple of days ago, they are at least 'doing something' to overcome the issues. They gambled on the cheapest potential solution but it failed so now there is additional cost on top of the failed attempt. I have seen this many times where it is often better to just bite the bullet and go for the solution that has the best chance of success and not necessarily the cheapest. Side track was always in my mind as being a likely and I had doubts about the jet washing . The dilution at the price achieved was the shocker.
Side track was always on the cards, I posted it myself some weeks ago. Sand jetting wasn't deep enough, typical depths when doing a multiple jet penetration would only just get past the 3m barrier but they took the chance on the cheapest option hoping that they would get a better flow result. They needed to go 10m or so sideways to achieve decent contact with the formation. For me this is not a surprise but a huge disappointment--and the SP price of the fundraise is not funny at all. End of April/May now to recover some of the losses. In the meantime AXL is creeping up slowly, TXP should have a reasonable coupe of months ahead and ZPHR--also down in the dumps are expecting to redrill over the next couple of months. None have performed very well over the past year or two but there should be a few £ to be made over the next 3months--likewise here for anyone buying at 0.06. Over and out.
For the millionth time. Clean-up and stable flow rates are the same thing. Flow rates are just about guaranteed to increase as the well cleans up. When it stops cleaning up the flow rate will be stable. Some wells take 12 months to clean up--deep offshore wells. This one we are told should be by around April---it might however reach a stable rate beforehand which will mean it has cleaned up more or less as much as it is going to. (this may be either good or not so good news--nobody knows yet)--Also before more panic sets in, if they get somewhere around 150 or 200bbls there may not be a need to install the esp--unless they want it on the basis of it being programmable from the surface and can fine tune it to suit the well characteristics--but its a cost to do it and they may choose to just keep pumping with the rod pump.. penned this before 8.00--just posted it.
@HMS. If you tried to melt the chocolate on the outside of an Aero, the whole thing would melt and that wouldn't be good at all. :)
So, are folk jumping out and into a trade on PHE?. Annoyed with myself for that one. Saw the opportunity with their last rns and didn't follow up on it. Too busy, mind on other things.
