Best thing to do is take profits as they arise, still a long way to go to prove that any resources are commercially recoverable whatever anyone wishes the situation to be. Spencer has no more idea whether the oil can be extracted than the last guy or the next guy until they drill Kodiak and put it on test. 12m time should be able to provide the answer.

If Harlequin are funding it then why not contract the rig directly and leave the management and execution to Georgina. Could be the apparent hesitance in securing a rig is that the driller doesn't have confidence in being paid. If the money is as promised, just make it available or at least put into a holding a/c as proof of funds for the driller. Maybe allow stage payments and a final completion payment.

Everything is pure speculation until we are told the facts. Same as common sense. Common sense might say that they need to establish what they can produce before securing contracts. pointless agreeing a contract and defaulting on it.

Probably still waiting for the plant to function properly and then start monetisation before committing to INEZ. Also there could be an argument to develop Rudyard with new wells in preference to INEZ. Depends on risk reward/prudent use of funds -- I of course dont know what they will do, but its a possible. Driller should take responsibility for the dropped string recovery and well inspection at least and then HEX take responsibility for the perforation and hook up to the ring main providing there's no damage. On the face of it INEZ would appear to be the best option but who knows.

By the way, I had no response to my question of whether monetisation of the free nitrogen was under consideration.

I would also check the term 'massive sulphide'. I looked it up some years ago and found that it doesn't exactly mean how it reads. It's something to do with the %of sulphides in the overall mineralisation and not the physical dimensions. Doesnt mean the presence of gold necessarily but it might.

Just making the point that pressure build up is not the same thing as a pressure test and it would be educational for some folk to look it up. I've been there and done it when working for Stena Drilling on their semi submersible rig Stena Spey in the N Sea. But 'Pressure testing' usually refers to the testing of pipes and vessels with the introduction of a fluid under pressure to test the integrity of the structure, i.e. does it hold the fluid or does it leak:) A different operation entirely. Pressure measurement, pressure monitoring, are again different. - just saying when folk post stuff, try to get the right description.

Did the little bird actually mean opening up the well to continue the 'well test' ? or did they mean retrieve the downhole monitoring equipment to analyse the pressure build up/vs time curve? but to say 'continue with the pressure test' is basically wrong and maybe the little bird is ad-libbing.

Not entirely convinced that a farm in partner for Kodiak would be that interested in Dubhe they are entirely different locations with no current data to suggest connectivity. Anyhow, your SP is still going in the right direction - well done to the believers.

Nope, nowt to do with He1, haven't been near that since they had rig problems ages ago. Hex have mentioned production is under way but they can only really produce once the trailer is hooked up, maybe it is I don't personally know at this moment, maybe I missed the info mainly due to no 'X' account, but I would have anticipated more of a fuss from BS with photos of the trailer at the pumps. Anyhow, SP heading onwards and upwards today so whatever is happening at the production site is somewhat academic. Next steps and a 2026 drill plan would be useful right about now - and to perhaps eye-up further land acquisitions-.

Folk are talking about pressure testing, does anyone know what they are actually talking about lol. It was a pressure build-up test, the actual downhole pressure is not hugely important. Look it up. In any case, it's low on the priority list, they already know what to expect.

@troajan. Apols for tardy reply--work is getting in the way hence why I have virtually exited from all investments into cash apart from a couple of stocks inc Hex. B.S originally mentioned a figure of $500 /Mcf and that is what the approx $12m per annum income was based upon with 4 wells. The other day I mentioned $2000 but it was plucked from thin air and I thought maybe $800 was more realistic, but blatav's post at 14.34 yesterday mentions $2000Mcf- hence why I said about $50m income potential. 4 x what we had pencilled-in. That is of course once they get the damned stuff into the trailer at the right quality -- which so far as I can tell hasn't been confirmed yet unless I missed it. If they really have got the trailer on site and are actually filling it then by next week we should be celebrating the first trailer being filled with a hoorah and photos for posterity. 4 x original income would be rather spectacular - even 2 x would be quite something.
