A note from the resident clown. No, they cannot drill further if they put it on production. what they are saying is that if it achieves a good prod figure without extra drilling they will leave it alone and take the revenue from the production. They have not indicated what figure 'satisfactory is' so it could be anything from 200 to 500 plus at a guess. To drill the extra 300m with a relatively small land rig would take quite some time, they would also have to run additional casing and cement it and then get it producing. It could easily be September by that time. I am hoping for 500 for Z21 as-is, but anything over 200 could imv be called satisfactory. Yes of course, was in the middle of a training course and didn't read the bit about running the washpipe today. I had thought they were doing that last week and may have finished. Getting carried away.

It would be interesting to know why they are running back in and with what. Drill pipe with a drill bit on the end would be jolly nice. It would mean that the tubing is out and they are cleaning up the casing. Maybe I missed something somewhere and it still just be the wash pipe followed by more fishing. I would have expected a big fanfare if the tubing were out, but one never knows for sure from these snippets.

Johnny M. Read it again mate. They are saying that if it produces well enough at the current depth, they will not deepen it. A good production rate will give income in the short term and no sense risking the well and adding costs to it on the basis that extra depth may add nothing in the end. If z21 can give us more than 200 on a sustainable basis it will be IMV a good result. It will be a few more weeks away though before we know.

Hey Mudstud Good bit of sleuthing and thanks for posting. Looks to me as though Andrea is still perplexed about the mcap in relation to the asset and wants to get someone behind it by promoting and gaining support. Maybe a pre-curser to fundraising but I think more of a PR thing. Raising funds for Indo would be easier at a 25million plus mcap as opposed to the buy one get one free price that we are at just now. The idea is that vigo can help with promotion and SP and then raise cash--fingers crossed. And---before my buddy AJ mentions it---yes, we need to show that we can get the flappin oil out, otherwise it has little value buried 3miles underground.----And at then, at same time as getting it out, shout very loudly about it via vigo comms.

Holding up fairly well, due a tick up with a few more buys. Site visit may still go ahead as they are still operational and able to demonstrate the site/equipment/process etc which may be sufficient for the inspection. My first thoughts were that it would be delayed until the new equipment is commissioned May/June with a visit afterwards but I am now of the 'hopeful' view that they could still go for it any day soon. Confirmation of sales being delivered and payment received will give further confidence and de-risking over the next month or so. I recently sent a message to Harvest about an observation that I had and received a message from Brian directly. This was not anything price sensitive etc but I was impressed that he took the time to respond especially with so much going on at the moment. Happy to have my money tied up here for the foreseeable. Yep. You lose the spread, but if there is a good broker on the end of the phone, you can sometimes negotiate a better price so as to reduce the spread. After all, the broker is getting a buy and sell in the same second. The amount of cash involved will have a bearing on the deal that they are likely to agree on. Time it right and it will be less costly. Do it before there are any big rises though otherwise the tax may well be a lot more than the small % in the spread.

Blimey. Bit of a flashback there. Hard work but great when you have a good team working in a silent rhythm. Still miffed about the tubing news and free point news, not sure we were told about it. The tweet showing us the 'last of the tubing coming out' was therefore horseShips and only half of the story. I said a couple of weeks ago it is not as simple as removing the tubing cleaning up and putting into production. Now its even worse, we have to mill, cut, vibrate, jar it (unlikely coz its flimsy stuff) or there may even be some fancy tool that fits over the tubing and can clean up the casing and remove any debris at the same time and then release the tubing from wherever it is stuck and pull it out. Ahem, think I might get on with the design today.
