They can do anything. Get the wheels off the ground, rig up a connection to the transfer box, weld on some tubing and stick some worm gear on the end and align it with a toothed wheel on the rotary table and off ya go. Forwards or backwards motion. Drilling might be a bit slow mind.

Mine was huge fun, Engine was antiquated though but a more modern conversion would sort it out. I might get one !.

They wont be needing it for at least a month so it doesn't matter. It will only get in the way of the set up if it was already there and there is always a chance of it getting damaged, so keep it out the way until needed. They have to drill the hole first which they cant do until they have built the rig, which is still en route (final bits). It was encouraging to learn that they are at least going to case the thing--
I just want to see it being put together. Hols are over, weather is fine, Lada Niva is on site, what else could they want. :)

DS now needs to 'fess up' to the look ahead potential and plan for it. Doubt/uncertainty on the minds of investors will and has already caused some selling down. Very good research though--internet is a wonderful thing (sometimes)

I estimate 2 weeks for assembly, couple of days in there somewhere for testing the equipment, bop test. Presumably they will need mud, some top sides process eqpt, oil/ water separator, shaker house. I would dearly love to see drilling starting in April which should be possible if they have the resources, have it all organised and get on with it.

Yeah, I know. Its not entirely out of the question if "fingers crossed" we get a major success at the Cretaceous zone on both these wells and big increase in reserves guesstimate.

Site visit is just a genuine opportunity for investors to be hosted by the company and to introduce them to the team, take a look at the rig and to see the field. AC is doing it as a genuine offer to shareholders to take a look. No doubt he will be damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. I wouldn't look too far into it being anything other than a goodwill gesture. He mentioned it to me some months ago and probably to others that are in contact.
For operational/safety/confidential reasons I would suspect the visit to be either during or post rig assembly, before drilling and therefore before completion. Not many organisations would make such an offer. take them up on it, ask questions, be critical, call Andrea whatever names you wish face to face and provide the company with any financial or technical advice that may help in improving the company position--or just stay at home. lol.

One possibility would be to run a smaller diameter casing and cement inside the existing one if the diameter allows. Don't take that as anything other than a possible or hold me to it ffs . They could do a erm sidetrack.....hopefully there will be no issues with what they have. They need a bit of good fortune.

I interpreted the Cliveism rns as that the big sh*ite had been removed (blockages) and the remaining 147 metres needs a clean up which could mean a run-in with a clean up of the wellbore tool 9scraper or similar), maybe some chemicals ( I don't know) but the point being that the blockage appears to be cleared. --interpretation.

As I said though, they have included a get out of jail card with the caveat that there may be well damage which at the depths and pressures of these wells may cause more big lumps of rock/salt/ coming into the bore. After all these years, what is another month or two to get it right.
