Anyala field will be developed along with the nearby Madu field in OML 85, which lies approximately 20km northwest of the Anyala. Madu field has a simpler structure compared with Anyala, but also has oil and gas discoveries in multiple-stacked reservoirs. Madu development constitutes Phase 1B of the integrated asset development plan and includes drilling of five oil development wells.
Production from both Anyala and Madu development wells will be processed through a shared Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit that will be positioned in Anyala. The FPSO which is currently undergoing upgrade works, has a processing capacity of 60,000 stb/day of oil, 25,000stb/day of water and 39MMscfd of gas.
As part of the gas monetization plan for the asset, both associated gas from oil production and the non-associated gas developments from Anyala and Madu fields will be routed to a gas processing hub, which is planned to be located in Anyala field and designed to feed an export line for the local gas market.
