You can work out the penultimate line but not the last-neither can I
Time for my pills!

Might be useful in clarifying what has been permitted. Those bailing out were aware that the detailed examination/envt process/objections stages now awaits us.
Hopefully by this time the toxic gnome might have had time to re-examine her vegetarian principles and have grasped some semblance of reality in the sense that the world can safely coexist with mining in a democratic country such as Sweden where it will be carefully managed with a solid plan to mitigate before/ during and after mining.
The environmental backlash/ sh-t show which I rather crudely referred to many months ago really hasn't come to the fore yet. They will have their day when presumably the BEM plans are examined in a public forum as part of the permitting process.
Hand in there.
nths agi hasn't happened yet
Good letter but would have liked something to have been added briefly about the economic benefits likely to flow through the sub regional population-including the Sami who are not directly involved in reindeer herding etc.
I would have thought that recent aggressive threats from Putin would have made the decision to secure home based resources that much easier to take.
Finding it difficult to fathom the mentality of the Swedish "decision making process".
Sentio result based on sample of 1026 carried out between 24/2 (start of invasion) and 2/3 showed Greens on 2.8%
Earlier in January 2022 the same co put Greens on 3.6%.
Perhaps the message about developing and securing home based resources is being heard nationally irrespective of the noise being created in and around Kallak.
Hi Roller
Perhaps he's relaxed and the reason he can move on to other "projects" such as education is because he has made his mind up (hopefully "Yes") but feels that it looks better politically to make everyone wait. This then doesn't appear as a predetermined/rushed decision pandering to the mining lobby and providing more hot air for the anti mining cabals. Didn't he also say something about a decision in March anyway??
Not sure if the late RNS might have leaked before cop on Friday.
Some very confident with their buy/s from around 4 pm onwards.
Hopefully a good start on Monday despite Ella's and others' best efforts.
Might have been better PR and also politically--with 75% of shares in Swedish hands-if Monday's RNS was issued simultaneously in English and Swedish.
Some of the BEM detractors appear to be using the ages old argument that once again a foreign power ( British company) is trodding the old colonial route by stripping assets from their motherland!
The media is sleep walking us into a self induced recession.
Doom and gloom is the only positive way to sell the news.
I lived through a period of high inflation and super high int rates (15%) with at one stage 3 kids under 5 and one income-good old early 80s; the current media sh-t storm about how badly people across the whole country are struggling leaves me frustrated around the imbalanced reporting styles. But bad news sells eh? Keep telling people that we are struggling under a mountain of debt and see what happens to consumer spending. What happened to all that money that was saved when we had lock-down when people couldn't spend on hols/eating out or other discretionary spending. I seem to recall that it amounted to £3k per household on average across the UK-I'm stressing the word average/mean.
For example-I may be slightly out but I did read somewhere that 75% of mortgages are now fixed; you can still get up to 35 months on 0% balance transfers for those who are struggling with their cards (yes I know many cannot get credit but that is thankfully a minority). There are other examples-Maggie in contrast to Rishi gave young couples like us (at the time) no sweeteners to help with her form of financial management.
Dip stick that I was back in the early 80s -I didn't even know or wasn't advised that you could actually fix you mg int rate!!
I bet that younger people today with the net are much more financially aware than I was 40 years ago -or they should be given the amount of financial info freely available.
The MKS demographic will largely be relatively immune to the current malaise.
May be wrong -but had a note in my diary reminding me that today was the final date for all the legal docs to be submitted to the court/s.
Would appreciate any updates/thoughts.
V quiet here today!
Don't give up on it Ping !!

--on asking Ella to come up with some evidence for claims of tardy nature of arbitration cases in Z.
Ella-perhaps you could enlighten us with specific and recent examples-always like to see statements backed up by documented sources in the public domain!
The local Sami need to come out and put their cards on the table and communicate what they want out of any deal.
Their needs to be a change of thinking away from the narrow for and against viewpoints in which the greens and the eco -warriors are only too well immersed. There needs to be communication so that a situation can be reached where the benefits of the mine can be captured by all parties-with the exception of course of those that are so narrow-minded that nothing will persuade them otherwise.
If one takes longer term and dispassionate view of things and accept that any mine will have an end of life then it follows that future generations of Sami herders can still reclaim that bit of "their" land over which so much fuss was made back in 2022 (or whenever Sweden actually made a decision).
If I was Sami I would be bidding for a levy on ore extracted with the monies to be paid into a fund for compensation for the mining impact on their business and to support their culture etc.
With all the focus on the Zambian Court system -are we forgetting the forthcoming (?) action in the UK High Court featuring ARCM vs Terra Metals??
Inflation fears tend to hit those cos hardest in the ("in-between ") category.
If MKS can still continue communicating its quality/price positioning then it should be able to weather the forthcoming media storm of inflation induced poverty in the UK.
How many of you can recall inflation and in rates well over 15% in the past?
PS-I know that millions will be impacted by cost rises which will impact discretionary spending but the media will have a field day of course, which will only serve to drive down sentiment.
PS-am not a rabid
Whilst he usually reports on holdings every 6 months or so I thought the recent RNS showing 74.7% held in Sweden
cf 73.4% in July last year was quite timely. Might also help in the decision making- process when politicos eventually work out that whilst it's an overseas company the great majority of its share ownership is (currently) very much home-based.
https://www.tellerreport.com/news/2021-11-01-every-year--60-reindeer-were-killed-in-traffic-at-the-airport-in-pajala---now-it-is-zero.S1FuzQXpIt.html
Doesn't initially look all that relevant but read on-common sense and working together plus compensation some of which came from mining company has helped reduce negative impacts of development in traditional reindeer herding areas.
Hope the link works?

You shouldn't have to explain your investment decisions or non decisions to anyone -least of all on a public BB such as this-although this one is (still) reasonably polite.
I think we can all look back with the benefit of hindsight and rather wished we had hit the sell button.
I'm sure there is a record of the no of shares in issue 10 years ago cf to today which will bring more of an air of reality to proceedings as will be the calculations around the valuation of the stuff in the ground (pre extraction) and how this translates to the sp.
I seem to recall through a haze of decaying grey matter that it was 60p plus a decade or so ago .
Corrections welcomed pls.
