Perhaps Polo Tang and the DB analyst are smarter than most of us gave them credit for.......unfortunately.

Pleased I’m not the only one! Retail investors seem to be reduced to cannon fodder when the big guns decide to move. Is there any independent overview to ensure fair play? I know there is but never see any evidence of action taken.

Anyone have a view on the significance of today’s RNS ? Why would Morgan Stanley do this?

JPM and Barclays mid May forecast prices 220 and 225 but Price didn't respond this much. Why do DB announcements have more effect on the price even on a day with more buys than sells? It's a mystery but supports the argument that BT is a target for manipulation.

May 2019 Buy recommendation 340 target
March 2021 Sell recommendation 110 target

The business apparently in a stronger place now than 2019.
if anyone is in the business I’d love to understand how the analysts sell moves like this to their clients. Always ready to learn.

Always wrong.............. an appropriate name........I am a customer, every contact I’ve had over the past few years has been well managed. they did have problems a few years back but they are now much much better.
Their debt to equity ratio is no worse than some other FTSE 250 companies.
Where you stand depends on where you sit and you obviously have an agenda against BT.......doesn’t make it right.

I agree Debt is high but just as an example Long term debt to equity is similar to Unilever .
When borrowing costs are as low as they are is that so bad?

The new company is apparently valued at £31 billion for a company with lower revenues and market share than BT. There are lots of complexities that may contribute to this difference I know but how can it possibly be worth three times the BT market value? I must be missing something , appreciate hearing a rational explanation from anyone how the two can be reconciled.

On that possibility we can agree, unfortunately the markets aren’t always rational.
If they were I guess we’d all be rich. I wish us both luck with BT and just hope that in the coming months we see some clearer leadership from the company that gives some credibility to our hopes that the company will come good. Missing that leadership and direction it’s no surprise the shares lurch from disaster to disaster regardless of what value should be seen.

We all have our own work historys and "been there done that" ( mine is 32 years in Computers- OEMs). what your deep knowledge and insight doesn't seem to have shown you is that AWS isn't just another cloud computing supplier, they have the largest Market share:-

Heigh ho....you obviously have correctly aniticipated every eventuality in the market so I truly hope your investment on BT ends up paying out more gains than all the cloud market participants. BT is giving me the biggest single personal loss in decades of investing and the only (irrational) reason I'm still in is that I can't bear to crystallise the Loss! So despite myself I hope you are right..................if you are it will be luck as your insight is no better than the rest of us punters on this board.

Amazon isn’t just about warehouses . Over half of their operating profit comes from Amazon Web Services which only produces circa 10% of Amazon revenue. That’s the division that runs their rapidly growing Cloud Computing operation, revenues from cloud computing grew over thirty percent last year. If BT had a profitable new business with high margins and rapid growth then it may be reasonable to compare them to Amazon , but they don’t. The market values on future expectations and unfortunately BT doesn’t have a clear roadmap to bigger margins, at least one that the big investors believe. I hope this changes but don’t see any signs so far.

We won’t have to wait too long to find out if any of your options become reality.
There’s lots of BS on this board about having b***s and growing a pair.
Unfortunately macho posturing doesn’t make investments pay off....if only it were that simple!

Unfortunately whether we like it or not the quickest way for powerful people to make a packet from this mine is for the scenario described by KOH to come about. Not sure that’s a conspiracy theory.
We PIs are like fish in a barrel and don’t have any way to fight back if it does all go the way he describes.
My optimism about this shares long term success has all but gone but it’s still a tough decision to make to stay just in case or call it a day and accept the loss.

As the problem with sales volumes was blamed on lack of sales focus in March I am surprised to see that there are well over a 100 vacancies still for sales people on the Micro Focus website. Doesn't bode well for good news in July.

I think this refers to USA listed RDS/A stocks listed in New York presently $48 so only a small increase.

Never say never but it seems unlikely............i think that at present levels book value is higher than market cap so that alone shows how unlikely.

Can anyone explain what's happening with SSE.Why is this drifting down so much? Over 15percent over recent months and Millibands threats even if they come true just aren't going to hit that hard.
