I disagree. The fundamental VLS technology has not changed. Projects they are trying to finance and develop are stagnant. Partners (Shell) have departed and snuggled up to VLS competitors. They’ve executed several fund raises at the expense of the shareholders and have made little tangible progress with the proceeds of the raises. They are also biting off far more than they can chew with these billion dollar projects.
4p here we come.

50% rise in three months? What about the 85% fall in five years? Zero confidence to potential long term holders. Find raise next and probably back down to 4p?

Surfing the COP26 hype with all low carbon stocks. They are all up. Just make sure you all pull the cord as soon as the hype is over in a few weeks. Nothing is changed with VLS. Underfunded, no proven process and the II’s know it.

One can ‘partner’ with as many paid entities as they like.
I’m talking about partners that bring money into the business. VLS relies on dilutionary raises to being money into the business to keep the lights on. Other companies appear to be able to secure 100’s of millions of private investment to help develop SAF projects. Why is VLS unable to do the same? There must be something fundamentally wrong.

This provides the pull. Unfortunately, nobody seems to want to push VLS. Why is that? Everyone else seems to have well held backers, ploughing money into their SAF projects..

Immingham won’t be financed. Too expensive, not enough project development experience as a company, insufficient UK government policy. The chances of Natchez being financed is better, but it’s all relative. Other SAF companies have demonstrated considerable success with project finance - VLS appear to be terrible at it.

The Alder CEO, Bryan Sherb’ something, has vast experience with SAF, both in terms of commercial scale development, construction and operation.

Basically, everything that VLS isn’t.

To think VLS could get anywhere near this guy in terms of progress and support, is delusional.

Good to see I have at least 5% credibility on this board.
I continue to be correct in my forecasts and opinion on VLS. I think my credibility should be considerably higher.

Financing it? Financing what? For the last 4 years, they’ve been on the cusp of on boarding an investor and to date, nothing.
Meanwhile, others in this category have raised 100’s of millions, using what looks like similar technology.
You must ask yourself why that is the case? Is it the poor ability of the Management? Poor business plan? If they can’t get that strategic on board now, they never will.

I think you’re getting your knickers in a twist. Merely stating fact and reasoning here. It’s up to you if you wish to sell.

One minute they quote a misleading $1.5bn plant, the next they state that they are the first to fly on Wood based fuels when it fact the first flight was in 2014 and now they are pasting incorrect info that suggests they are producing ten times as much fuel as they are planning to.

No wonder their ‘on boarding’ at that illusive investor never seems to happen..

$1.5billion!??! This is even more rediculous than the £500m plant in the UK. Utterly delusional to think they’ll be able to raise that amount of money.

McDanial also need to get his facts right. The first flight using wood was in 2014.

As VLS alluded to in the press release, they only get half the money now, with the other half subject to new policy progression.

In other words, policy is needed to make the economics work otherwise there is no project.

I’m not denying their amateur skill level for public outreach. I’m highlighting the fact that they are the ones who desperately need to gain 3rd party support. All the other winner are most likely not in a rush due to being comfortable in their own skin and do not need praise and glory.

Because they desperately need the PR?

This is nowhere near being rubber stamped. As you can see from the press release, more policy is needed to make this project work. Then then need to pay and finish the engineering. Then then have to convince a bank to lend them half a billion quid - to a company who has never built one before.

Years away yet. my guess is 2027 at the earliest.
