Check out the VLS website. They state all these vendors/suppliers. I also personally know of several alternatives to this selection of vendors so it’s far from Coincidental. They have just seen what the other is doing, think that that will give them the best chance of raising more money. It happens, but it’s a cop out.

As well as TRI (VLS switched to them following Fulchrum’s lead), VLS also copied their choice of supplier for the hot oxygen burner (Linde) and also the partial oxidation equipment supplied by Arvos.

It’s blatant plagiarism and demonstrates their MO for taking other people’s money/experience and using it for their own gain.

Miles ahead of VLS. I recently reviewed VLS choice of technology for their UK project. They appear to have chosen the same suppliers as Fulchrum. Says a lot about the VLS approach to development - copy someone else.

There is no future for VLS in project development. They seem to have an inherent issue in being able to attract strategic investment. All others in this sPace attracts tens of millions. I suspect there’s something fundamental when prospectives look under the hood of the company and see little else other than expensive staff remunerations.
However, their FT reactors have the potential to play a significant role in the company revenue, but unfortunately it’ll be nothing more than a back street garage type company.

At the time of writing, VLS has exactly ZERO FT reactors in commercial service or close to commercial service. But they are good at securing tax payer grant money so all is ok…

These are the type of developer that will secure the funding. It’s all about experience and balance sheet. Both of which are pretty poor for VLS.

To put it another way, Andrew Morris - the companies Financial head, has seen the books and is bailing out before it goes under in order to keep his reputation in tact.

Are they really trying to put VlS in the same league at Ineos?! This is clearly another paid for advert from Velocys.

The fact that they are recruiting technical development engineers and a Director of Cataylsts is confusing. They advised recently that R&D will cease and focus will be on building large projects (which they aren’t doing very well with!!). Hopefully this is a sign of things to come - stop messing about trying to build plants and wasting shareholder money and focus on what you know best.

Thanks. So a confirmed slippage into 2027. According to their original plan, they should have had an operating plant by now.
Maybe they should hold off on their bonuses until they actually make material progress ?

Heard that the UK plant completion date has now slipped from 2025 to 2027? I can’t find any info on this but apparently is the case.

HSD, nonesense. Most of the VLS competiton have successfully raised 100’s of million of private investment well before any steel was put in the ground. There are companies out there who don’t even own IP, yet have managed to raise substantial funding.
VLS perpetually struggle to raise fame changing, strategic funding. Case in point BA - they’ve only ‘invested’ a few hundred thousand (maybe a bit more) over the years into VLS, yet willing to pump others with moolah like it’s Monopoly money.

These investors have invested in the Lanzajet management team. In my view, the management team, or rather turn over of management teams, is what is preventing real money coming into vls. It’s speculative interest only for VLS at the moment.
