Money piling in to everyone apart from VLS! Why is that?!?!

This share will only move if they close on a project, be it US or UK. Until then, it’s just cash burn and executive salaries.

Yes, my bad. I read another post and assumed the exit by Evrington/Abramovich. I stand corrected.

My crystal ball predicted remains intact however.

The exit of Abramovich is very telling. His fund has been in VLS for years so clearly he/it has got sick of the lack of progress in light of other companies in the same space, excelling.

VLS are floundering in a pool of much better funded, vastly more experienced experienced players.

My crystal balls is telling me that. It’s UK and US projects will not proceed much beyond their current status and they will pivot back to selling reactors only - assuming the other FT players in the same space don’t capture the market share.

They aren’t buying Rula Developments. They are buying the AltAlto site’s holding company - Rula Developments Immingham.

2021 update: Detailed engineering for the Altalto project is expected to commence in 2023. Financial close is expected in 2024, with construction of the plant being targeted to commence in 2024 and to be completed by mid-2026, following which commissioning and start-up will commence, with full scale commercial operation expected in 2027.

2020 update: The second quarter of 2021 is the targeted date for the commitment to be made to full FEED. Construction of the plant is targeted to commence in 2022 and is currently targeted to be completed by the end of 2024, following which commissioning and commercial operations are expected to commence during 2025.

So they’ve slipped yet again. In 2019, they said that the UK plant would be operational in 2022.

Let see how many more bonuses they award themselves before the plant is operational in 2030.

Meanwhile, VLS competitor Fulchrum banks $50m. Makes VLS a laughing stock. Why can’t VLS sucker strategic investors like this?!?

Phew!! Massive bonuses for VLS management. They must be relieved. Shame they won’t be spending much of that money on actual project development.

Your philosophical comment has some merit however we are not suggesting VLS are leaders. VLS are firm followers yet still cannot find the strategic investors the other players have the ability to do. Clearly, the innocent investors such as those on this board (me included) are not privy to the detail, but the financiers and fund investors are and they have declined to ‘get on board’ with VLS, and prefer to seek better, more qualified developers with whom to partner.

VLS will continue to leech off repetitive placings for the foreseeable, just like they’ve been doing for years.

Gevo has fully integrated proven technology and a commercial scale plant. VLS has one piece of a complex process and two flashy computer generated images of commercial plants.
The pricing is all relative.

Planning Permission is moot if you can’t raise the money to build it.

A placing happened about 5 later than I thought. The fact is it happened and conveniently engineered just after they bumped the SP with offtake announcements.
Here we are, below the offering price. The price action tells the story better than anyone can imho.

Read the placing circular. It’s pretty obvious why they cannot find the project investors for the US and UK projects. They should focus on product development and sales and stop trying to do things they’re not cut out to do.

P66 installed a used cooking oils to deisel process unit in 2018 and another one late 2020. SAF was never in their plan until now. Given the tiny production volumes, I suspect this is a vanity project for both parties. Still, an inked offtake deal is more than VLS has at AlAlto.

Nothing to do with VLS. The Philipps66 fuel is made from waste oils.

Issue a couple of off take agreements, pump the SP, then seek £25m from poor, naive investors. Disgusting behavior. Where are the strategic investors in these projects? None to speak of.. You’d be a fool to buy into these offerings.

Yes. They own 100% Bayou. However remember what Bayou actually is. It’s a computer generated image and a site option. It’s merely a concept at this point in time. By the Ike Bayou is built (if it ever gets that far), VLS will be a single digit equity owner.
