MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - The European Union should sign off on its updated trade agreement with Mexico later this year, Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said on Friday.

The EU and Latin America's second-biggest economy in 2018 reached an agreement in principle on updating their joint trade deal, but the coronavirus pandemic and a complex approval process have hampered final ratification in Europe.

Speaking to Mexican lawmakers, Ebrard said that concluding the process would depend on the EU, and that European officials had informed Mexico this would likely occur in 2022.

The SP is not reflective of the value in the underlying assets, deals are being done to realise the value. I believe in time it will be better reflected in the SP. The SP has also been affected by the decline in value of EMH shares and iron ore prices.

If Amapa does IPO and Sonora is sold off, we could end up in a situation where all of our assets are public, then if there was a large discount to NAV buybacks / dividends can add obvious value or the company can be bought out or merged clearly management have every incentive to see the SP well above 29p also.

It's a possibility yes. Q4 22 looks set to be a big one for Cadence though.

- Upcoming Amapa MRE and Pre-feasibility study due in the next 1-2 months will outline the potential economic value of the mine
- Completion of the transaction to take shares in Hastings Technology Metals
- Clarity or a deal with Ganfeng and the Mexican government for the Sonora Lithium project is expected soon
- EMH are set to announce off-take deals and a Bankable feasibility study in the next 6 months
- Evergreen Lithium IPO and drilling results could unlock value given the performance of similar peers post IPO
- Amapa IPO to realise the value of the project

We may get the Interim results next week.

The addition of 0.73 million tonnes of Ore Reserves will immediately increase the mine life of the Yangibana rare earths project by approximately one year to a total of 16 years.

Considering we've paid £5m for Amapa so far and the min we can come away with is $9m (£7.5m) per the ROFR and the $24m for 22% stated by Kiran values our 27% holding at £25m. Sonora is then valued somewhere between negative £2.5m and negative £20m by the market. Staggering really, looking forward to the re-rate.

I take it to mean a processing plant for hydroxide or carbonate which was already part of the plan
