Yes it's interesting because the LFP batteries which are now expected to be the bulk of the market use Li Carbonate rather than Hydroxide.
EMH is planned to be Hydroxide but can be Carbonate

And Sonora:
"The Sonora lithium project is expected to produce 17,500tpa during the first four years and 35,000tpa of lithium carbonate a year from fifth year onwards."

Expecting these sonora numbers to be massively revised upwards once the buy out is complete.

The market is totally missing the value in our assets at the moment. Amapa are basically like free options at this price.

The mine is planned to produce a much higher grade 65% ore than the 58% price we are getting from the stockpile and will be hugely profitable at current ore prices.
It’s possible some of the stockpile could be a higher grade too I think it was assessed at avg 62% previously so maybe we have been shipping the lower grade first or that we haven’t been able to sell it at the higher grade due to the time it’s been sat exposed to the elements.

Yes and as some seem to forget, the project is also progressing on the ground.

@Nick, No, I still feel the company is worth substantially more than 30p per share currently.
It's possible the banks have mislead Kiran & Indo Sino, but ultimately the courts will decide the matter and I personally believe that it will go ahead and we will take our 20/27/49%.

@Kluck anything that is a possibility should be factored in to the estimation of fair value and for me personally that includes the likelyhood of the Sonora JV sale, which would be pocket change to Ganfeng. They bought BCN out, why would they not buy the KDNC share for a fair bit less. The Chinese are looking 40 years ahead with their 2060 plan and securing the resources now. Given the 150+ year resource here, you can see why they are going to be interested.
Even if you put it as a 10% chance it's still a possibility that it's wise to factor in to any valuation.

There is still a huge upside potential, none of which appears to be 'priced in' an offer from Ganfeng for Sonora could be a game changer for us.
The courts could rule Amapa in our favour or the banks could sign the deal this time if their appeal is rejected.
Hastings could buy us out of the JV.
EMH also looking good with both lithium and tin rising and CEZ building a gigafactory up the road.

P.S Notice how all of the many accounts of a certain someone are in use this morning.

EMH has been a fantastic investment for KDNC and with Lithium rising by the day, the demand for local suppy chains, cinovec couldn't be in a better place 30+ battery factories being built around it. Well done KM!

The tin price has also been soaring over the past year. Given Cinovec is a historic tin mine it certainly bodes well as the tin credits make the lithium extraction close to free.
I have to agree the positioning of the assets looks to be bearing fruit and should be very positive for all shareholders in the coming months / years.

Assuming 141.1M Shares outstanding is correct:

Gives $87.482M AUD Market cap = £46.6m so Cadence holding 1% is roughly £466,000 so the 25% gain being £93,000 gain to Cadence overnight. Roughly 0.0623p per share in KDNC terms.

We haven’t tended to get RNSs until judgements are made.
The conclusion I have to draw is that is consistent with what we are being told is that the banks have been acting in bad faith perhaps claiming they were going to sign hence “fait accompli” then being “painfully slow” signing the deal I don’t think the courts will stand for it. I don’t expect an RNS telling us this, more of a read between the lines or perhaps it will come through in the court case.

If this is our filing then "Periculum in mora" Latin for "danger in delay" could apply as the banks are preventing investment in to the project (Dip A/B/C). This could give us the grounds for the advanced guardianship or at the very least leverage of the courts to encourage them to sign.

There is a lot of Indian connection which is why the Indian banks financed it.
Zamin of course was Indian founded by Pramod Agarwal
D.P. Jindal also Indian was the company that failed the prior JRP attempt

@Obs, Presumably they financed the project as a union so are likely to be contractually obliged to stay as one.

If we have filed it then it is interesting to note the recent “Hugely Detrimental to the banks” wording.

Are the banks acting in bad faith by delaying and not telling the truth to Cadence / Indo Sino?
