Gloria, That's a crass remark. You're obviously in a very negative mood at present. Can you keep your feelings to yourself rather than publish them on a public bulletin board for all to see?

This is turning into an interesting tussle. Over the past two weeks the sp has hit 1.975p (mid) no less than 7 times before bouncing back. It has reached 2.05p (mid) 3 times before dropping back. It is now at the resistance point once again. So the question is which will break first: the support or the resistance? IMO it is more likely to be to the upside. We need one bit of good news for the sp to break free.

1)Way too early for announcement of a placing (if it is to happen).

2)Many possible reasons for lack of announcements as yet:

a)There may be nothing major yet to announce (but news should be coming soon)

b)The company is not going to announce every bit of minor news (eg each sale achieved).

c)Some news is already out there (eg I understand there will not be a separate announcement for the additional 5 sites contracted under the NIHR/NICE programme as it’s already in the public domain).

d)The forthcoming interims are due at the end of the month and it is there that I am hopeful we shall see much of the anticipated news.

This is tkevin from February 2023. "Why all the speculation about a fundraise? The company already said they would do one. The great thing now is there’s fuel in rockets and the discount shouldn’t be too bad and the dilution is minimised by the higher share price."

So is the glass is half full or half empty? I guess it depends on whether one is in.... or out. 🙂

From the final results Nov 2024:

"The tax credit for the year was £0.7m (2023: £0.8m). The Group investment in R&D falls within the UK Government's R&D tax relief scheme for small and medium sized companies where it meets the qualifying criteria and as the Group did not make a profit in the year it is collected in cash following submission of tax returns. The £0.7m is a receivable on the balance sheet at the year end and is lower than in the previous year due to reductions in the enhanced relief available from April 2023." We should be getting confirmation of the payment in the interim results at the end of this month.

Fund raise? Possible but not inevitable. Sources and possible sources of income:

1)Existing cash: As of 21/11/24 there was £3 million in the bank.

2) £500k grant for AIHL.

3)Tax rebate of £700k due early 2025.

4)Sales: in the year ending June 2024 they amounted to some £500k. I think it is safe to assume that they will be somewhat higher for the current year.

a)In the UK there will be the Scottish rollout at some point.

b)Additional income from the existing neonatal intensive care units.

c)New income from the 5 new intensive care units coming on line.er for the current year.

So let's make a modest forecast of £800k from late November 2024 to end of June 2025. That gives a possible total of £5m coming in up to the end of June. The outgoings are in the region of £500k per month. So from 20/11/24 to the end of June 2025 approximately £3.7m expenditure, leaving a balance of £1.3 million in the bank.

So there would be a need for a fund raise by late summer.. However, there is the possibility of extra income. The US partner could help out with the FDA application for the hearing test. Additional intensive care units in the UK could come on board. Income from the tests in Europe and the Middle East could take off more than anticipated.

So whilst a need for a fund raise is certainly a possibility, it is not a certainty.

I indicated at the end of last year when the sp was 2.5p, that there was a likelihood of downward drift in the absence of news. So here we are at 2p and I have now topped up as I said I would at this level a month ago. Why now?

First I believe further downside is limited in the short to medium term, still bearing in mind the downward pressure a possible fund raise might cause.

Secondly there is the pipeline of positive news that we can expect this quarter:

AIHL

1)Possible Scottish roll out. Due any time.

2) Already 9 sites in England and this will increase to 14 under the NICE EVA programme. Due any time.

3) Sales in the EU and the Middle East. Possible any time.

4) FDA news. Due early 2025.

5) Specialist Commissioning which would open up the doors for a national rollout. Scheduled for April 2025

Stroke Test

1)Possible Scottish rollout. Due any time.

2)Further live sites in England. Possible any time.

3) CE IVD certification which would allow for sales in the EU and certain other countries. Scheduled for early 2025.

4) Completion of the pilot for the stroke test in England. Due to complete by April 2025.

Finally the directors saw fit to splash out on shares in December at prices from 2.189p to 2.344p. If they have confidence at that level, and I'm assuming the purchases were not done simply as a confidence booster, I'm happy to top up lower down. In the absence of news it could drift a little lower but I'm comfortable at this level.

Certainly when I spoke to the former CEO last year he seemed confident that another fund raise would not be needed. The more publicity the better!

I'd be very wary of this poster. He sounds like a classic pumper and dumper. He claims there are rumours on social media that GDR have secured additional £1.25 million of funding that was applied for in November and then claims to post a link which is then purportedly removed by LSE.

Why am I sceptical? First he could easily point the way to the site even if the link was removed. But he doesn't. Secondly the company would have put out an RNS if the company had got additional funding. But it didn't. But the giveaway is "Link removed". LSE rarely use that option but when they do it is in block capitals: "LINK REMOVED".

So it's good to see a bounce in the sp today but don't put your trust in this new poster HarryR65.

A lot of positives this month in spite of the downward drift of the sp.

New appointments would seem to signal the expansion of the company (unless there have been resignations that we haven't been told about):

Appointment of Stacey Gardiner as UK Business Development Manager on Jan10.

Appointment of Kimberly Howard as Product Manager yesterday together with the words "We continue to roll out the MT-RNR1 ID Kit across the UK".

Exhibiting at Arab Health next week. A pity it wasn't in November when I spent a week in Dubai!

All this follows on from the director share purchases and the very positive results for the stroke test in December.

Now what I am looking out for is the Scottish rollout for MTRNR1 and/or CYP2C19-ID in Scotland and the previously heralded additional 5 new sites throughout the UK nations for MT-RNR1. Then hopefully that will give the boost that the sp needs.

So, in December the study results came out for the stroke test and we were told: "In summary, in a cohort of 202 patients, in addition to being substantially less expensive than the laboratory platform, the Genedrive® CYP2C19 ID Kit outperformed laboratory testing with respect to (1) speed to result, (2) accuracy of LOF identification and (3) test fail rate. Sensitivity and specificity of the CYP2C19 ID Kit was 100%, with failure rate of 0.98% (three times lower than laboratory testing)." That sounds pretty positive to me!

It wouldn't have made much sense for the directors to have bought a sizeable number of shares in late December if they knew they would soon be worthless!

Lol Jimi. No, it wasn't me. I stand by what I have been saying since the end of December, that in the absence of news this is likely to drift south. Longer term I am very much a believer and will be topping up at lower levels.

Max12 just started posting today and already has posted 26 times on a variety of shares. Perhaps posting so much that he hasn't quite bothered to read posts properly. Clearly a sell as the sp went down just before the transaction and buys were coming in at 2.1p.

A massive sell of 1.93 million went through a few minutes ago. Looks like someone wants out!

I'm not getting too excited about dragonfly doji and wave patterns. There were rallies after director buying and again after positive clinical performance for CYP2C19-ID was published. Since then, for the last 3 weeks the drift has been south apart from a brief bounce from 2.15p to 2.25p. before the downward path continued. What this share needs now is some positive news, in particular revenue related news. In the absence of such news the probability of a new fund raise...and hence a brake on the share price... remains. The next news I'm anticipating is Scottish rollout for MTRNR1 and/or CYP2C19-ID in Scotland and the previously heralded additional 5 new sites throughout the UK nations for MT-RNR1. Then hopefully we will see a decent rally.
