The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I imagine that's a way to sell down or dispose of the shares for future funding, aren't they supposed to be locked in so I would think that this is a way around that, so I guess there is a master plan afoot. Or I could be talking complete tosh. X
There is an interesting tweet today about distribution of ldl, seems twitter is the preferred message board. Could it be if sbtx really takes off that opti,s m/c is less than it's sbtx investment, making it's ip and business worth absolutely **** all, by the way where's wooly... x
Now when I said about no news I meant generally, just something to let us know that something is happening, that's what PR is about, but we have a disconnect between the BOD and shareholders, the trading update will appear when ready, for good or bad.. Wooly you shouldn't worry too much about the new appointments, SOH is very prudent, but that could be in itself counter productive, bit like austerity trying to live within your means, could be considered to lack ambition and just not sexy enough for the normal AIM punter, even Boris wants to spend to get out of a hole.. anyone here looking at DeFi , there is a revolution happening.. X
I think it's pretty apparent now that BTC is here to stay, and as the leader of the pack drags everything else up with it, so lots of other opportunities also, definitely a DeFi revolution going on, onwards and upwards.
Well we all live in hope, just seems like a binary bet on the figures, feels like that is the only thing that might move this now, the theory of a nasdaq listing feels a million miles away. It would be nice to have something positive here, but no news , no nothing, are they still on Xmas hols, gone off to lie in the sun somewhere, Do I sound depressed, you bet, this has been hugely disappointing,
Well that appointment came out of left field, presumably there is a specific purpose to it not just for window dressing, bit confused by earlier messages, where does Gerald Malone fit into this. So at least we are all confused now, not just me and wooly.. transparency hmmmmm.
Now the problem i have with Opti is when i say there is no transparency , we have no idea what is really happening, I know everything is covered by NDA's but this is food supplements, not a nuclear warhead, all seems well over the top to me. Now with regards to PR there is no link between BOD and shareholders apart from Elrico accasionally, now by contrast this is the last time I mention ARB but they give a monthly progress report with figures so clarity is key. Now they wanted USA exposure so joined the OTC market, no fuss no bull**** just did it..now that has 3 levels and within weeks they have moved from level 1 to 2 and will go shortly to 3 and then they will be ready for NASDAQ, whereas Opti just suggests that an alternative listing might be a possibility, just so much dithering about and not actually getting down to the nitty-gritty. In this modern world, social media is a must, if i was in charge I would give a 16 year old a smart phone and say spread the word, cos hardly anyone apart from us has heard of Opti. Apart from that all is well, although we all have different thoughts and feelings and frustrations we do want the same things, so let's not get to exasperated, should all come good somewhere along the line, failing that I recommend a few shots of whiskey, always helps me ...
My first throw of the dice was at 23p when things were looking good then it was an exciting place to be, since then we have seen a lot of false dawns, I guess along with other lths I do regret not bailing out at £1.30 but hindsight is not much use. I did sell a third of my holdings at a loss and put it into ARB which is the best thing I ever did, it is psychologically very difficult to sell at a loss when you have high hopes for something, so still have enough to care until something groovy comes along, my average price is 71p so everytime it gets close it is frustrating that it can't quite make it.
I have actually been in this for a few years now and it was well loved with a target of £2 , but has gradually fallen by the wayside because it can't deliver anything to get excited about, sentiment has long gone, if the results are good then that could change, unfortunately I'm not that optimistic but hope I'm wrong, we have been waiting a long long time for something to ignite the SP ,hopefully that is coming in my lifetime, don't want to be a downer but we all need a sense of reality..
I'm as ****ed off as you are, seems like huge potential here which is why I bought in some time ago, unfortunately the management has managed to turn a once loved company into a dull dreary stock, with absolutely no transparency or public relations, what this BOD needs is a rocket up their arse, there I've got it of my chest, not what most want to read but I imagine most would secretly agree .
Hi guys and gals, my first post , been in this share a month now but feels like a lifetime with all what's happening. Now haven't seen this mentioned so thought it might be worth sticking my head above the parapet.. Does anyone subscribe to THE DAILY HODL , today explains why BTC has been all over the place lately with record movement and more coins being made available to the market, Well worth a read, so suggests that once settled and stable things should pick up. So at least there is a legitimate reason for the downturn..
that's an interesting point, I did wonder if it would be possible for skin to have a higher m/c than opti, now it seems pretty likely, but a slightly strange anomaly.. seems to me there is a general lack of interest here, maybe just not sexy enough any more, behaving like an old codger whereas skin is still the racey teenager..needs something to relight the fire..
