Understandably the Russians have an issue with NATO projecting power at their eastern flank - not desirable from their perspective.
As always, two ways to look at a situation.

" what can we do" - simples, vote down any offers that are not acceptable to the majority of shareholders.
Given that there are quite a few entrenched holders here I would hope this to be at an acceptable level to all.
The fickle holders will hopefully leave before we get to this point.

I have been invested in this damn share for the last 14 years - I would rather write my investment off than give it away.
This may seem a little crazy, but there is the matter of principle.
Russia or not, current geopolitical situation or not - all temporary bluster on both sides!
Now if someone comes up with a reasonable offer, I would consider.
Until then, and it is hypothetical at this moment, I am not going to give in easily.
Question is of course what other shareholders will do?

Please read my msg correctly - used inverted commas to make my point , which is exactly the one you are making in your response AND I had further quoted " far from it"!
However, for the sp to drop at that speed and degree just seems utterly ridiculous to me....hence my comment "just wait for the rebound".

Now that we have finally made it through the 3.60 level, I would expect further substantial gains in the coming months
