Unfortunately the lack of news has echo's of past behaviour, which doesn't inspire confidence.

That the coal fines being processed with the remaining stock piles plus a months coal extraction from the northern area that there's been the odd bag or bucket of coal gone through the gate, yet no update?

You are correct and in the coming months we shall know what that capacity is.
Not all the sales will be washed coal.
The need for more plant will become clearer once we prove that we can fulfill existing contracts, that is assuming they still exist?
Once we have a reliable production of good quality coal then the customers should be lining up.
The claim is that there's an increasing interest in EDL's coal, if true we should be seeing a substantial update any time soon.

6 months are you sure of that? Like the production it was a failure and yes I am sure production will increase.

They certainly have something that most holders don't and that is mates rates profit!
This month should see some movement (in the right direction) of the SP.
It won't be long before we have double shifts with associated income, some achievement in TZ.
Not many weeks to go to the interims.

There's little point in guessing production figures, we can only go by the latest RNS releases. They're processing and selling the original stock piles, once there's sufficient coal from the new northern area double shifts will be introduced. To make such a statement (it's hard not to ignore historically similar statements) I'm assuming that this time they have got it right. What we need is the all important update. It's not long to the interims , when I assume we will have increased production and a positive forward looking statement. The downward staircase should now be reversed along with my considerable losses.
If needed, any fund raising Will be after consolidation not to keep the lights on but to increase the extraction of what is a huge resource. The CPP is lingering somewhere in the background, now that could still be the game changer.

All we need is the TZ gov. to have a similar attitude and your average would be history! As yet not a whisper re EDL's project.
By the interims we should have contracts in place plus a substantial increase in production. We can only hope.

EDL has had a SP like a staircase going in the wrong direction for 9 to 10 years, although now it appears to look more promising. Results in a couple of weeks or anytime now, we shall see what they release.

I believe the profit quoted at the time, was between $10 and $20 per ton based on the commercial coal price at the time.
In the interims it claimed that the value of 1k tons and less would be $100k when transport.was included. The EOY results should make interesting reading, as aerial said they will delay the results in the hope that they will release some decent news, or words to that effect, we shall know in a couple of weeks.

It's almost 18 months since the RNS stating that due to the demand for our coal we have started a 2 shift system and decided to mine Namwele using our Tanzanian partners Upendo group, not a word since that I know of. The orders (potential) at the time were in excess of the latest figures.
The production figures since Jan 18 have been abysmal, so the EOY results will be the same hence the current situation.
We can only hope that the latest RNS lives up to it's promises of increased production and sales. If it does the current SP should be considerably higher before the mid term results are posted.
Has the BFS on the 300mgw plant been cancelled along with the power plant tender? the only recent references I have seen are for a much smaller.plant, I of course may have missed relevant information.

The RNS states that the increase of washed coal to 10k tons per month will be in the next 12 months??? so some time to go yet! there will of course be other products on top of the washed product, until we get some confirmation of sales and or contracts the SP may not make great progress as you say the MMs are in control.

Production and sales are what is needed, existing contracts are not forecast to be fulfilled until the northern area is opened up by the end of Q319. that is along way off from their original target of Jan 18 due to circumstances that they had not foreseen. The current share price must be tempting for new investors, bearing in mind I have thought that on previous price drops pre dilution. do you cry or laugh at the carrot chasing? We can only wait and see what transpires.
