LG, I have noted your post and you are entitled to y our own opinion/attitude towards edl as a company, what I don't understand is y our continued posting on this board. Having been in many shares some a complete disaster eg. DES, although I did get some compensation when RKH was hammerred down to pennies and then shot up to £5.
Any share that caused me to have your sentiments towards it I binned and definitely did not continue posting to annoy others.
KTS now ARC struggled with a good product and my original investment in that would be just breaking even without averaging down, it now pays an annual dividend and has multi bagged.
SEE and FDBK are two more that have struggled at times but I do not complain, so edl a different kettle of fish I know with poor coms. but will I am sure pay back what I've invested, no need to **** people off

GW agree with your comments, I have said that the interims could be key to a change in the SP, IF, what we are being told is true (with the caveat of past history) we have good quality, coal increased production with double shifts which should mean contracts will be secured, hopefully the interims will answer any questions re production. I'm waiting to see the accompanying (if there is one) forward looking statement, another couple of weeks should provide those answers.

Sadly LG displays the same behaviour as POTUS.

L.G. re your post, I remember a regular poster on this board, Merlin, whom I believe invested a substantial sum into EDl, was one of two attendees of EDL's agm some years ago, he posted on this board that Aerial had grilled the then board with questions that made it obvious Aerial knew what he was talking about which is a contradiction to your post, make of that what you will.

At least it explain (once again) the lack of production and the cash raised is to correct that.
Contracts should now follow. Looking forward to the interims and hopefully more clarification.

Until Diggie posts the true figures re production (as promised) then paying their debt with cash says to me they have the income.

I've not known such a period of quiet trading in EDL, I can only assume the markets are waiting for that all important RNS, good or bad?

Your post is the reason I still hold and like you I have reduced my average. I have not sold a single share since the days of Rolason and his private AGMs, the wisdom of that is questionable.
I still think we will have an update before the interims with the prospects of a re-rate. My concern now is we have had 2 months production from the northern area and the only mention of volume has come from Diggerman, if his figures are correct then the expected income is not there so it is anyone's guess what will happen in that case? I shall look back in when the interims are posted.

Sos, I seem to remember that Nov was the time line for consolidation but that was from a quick read some time ago, fair do's if I'm wrong.
Ref diggerman, if he is correct about the truck delivery, what else does he have info on and how many of his previous postings are accurate. If so he is either on site or he has a close contact as his postings contradict RS news releases, or at least throws doubt on the content.

As per RNS NOV. was the month when consolidation will take place.

The new trucks and double shifts = increased production? No current figures so production can't be that good otherwise they would have been the highlight of the RNS.

Aerial, I agree but apart from EDL's poor communication the biggest hurdle has and is Africa's inept ability at organisation and officials more interested in their pockets than improving the living standards of the general population. Now we have a president of TZ hell bent on destroying a world heritage site for what? A project he can't finance himself that will never be completed in the time quoted contractors who do not have the experience. Everything points to not only a financial disaster but also an engineering disaster. Magufuli might rue the day he pulled the plug on EDL. We shall know in 3 years if I'm wrong.
So roll on the sales contracts.

Recommended your post. The market will at some point appreciate the potential of EDl.
Once the TZ gov. realise that it will be many years before they get a spark from their hydro projec and that will depend on investors being prepared to support the project to the end? Perhaps they will see the benefits of EDLs RCPP. Whatever EDL must prove that they can get the coal out of the ground.
I'm waiting to see the reason (if any ) for yesterday's rise.

Bottom Feeder, I assume that you are giving this board the benefit of your experience, if so and you need a good laugh you should (if you haven't done so already) have a read of the 31/1/18 RNS.
Things certainly went downhill after that.
