A.M. is not R.S. so I do not think that he would be posting information on contracts if he was not pretty certain of raising the necessary finance, however the effect that will have on the SP is a totally different question which could be answered before year end.

Digger man, EDL are apparently well aware of your comments re the returning of the excavator etc. As they are not prepared to dispute what you have said I can only assume that your info is credible, although your previous estimates re production were to say the least optimistic.
The new CEO is obviously a different calibre to RS who was running a right Fred Carno's.
It would seem that all depends on the talks with this new investor. We should have more clarity in the coming weeks as to whether 10 years of investing in EDL is up the spout or not. Going by AM's history for me this is still worth a top up.

At this point in time the new CEO has given a factual statement and until proven otherwise does not seem to be on a diet of magic mushrooms which has been the staple diet of RS.

It was stated that Namwele would have coal suitable for sale unwashed in march 18 but no further mention of it, as far as I am aware. I took that to mean as well as production from Mkomolo. Without going back I could have misread the RNS.

that is true but, what seems like an age ago, in one of his RNS's he stated that each 1k tons had a value in income of $100 k.
I have yet to see anything to prove that. Unfortunately the lack of comms and their failure meet the required production forecasts does not inspire confidence in them meeting these targets. A little information could go a long way to aleviate any doubts. I still think this will come good as long as I live long enough and cope with the frustration, hence my posting it as a buy. We shall see.
PS. Namwele has not been mentioned again that I'm aware of.

3 months of increasing sales to new and existing customers. No mention of fulfilling original contracts, no sign of new contracts, so are these just sales at the gate? ?? the odd bucket!
If they cannot produce 6ktons per month now then they have little chance in the next 6 months of becoming cash flow positive e.g. 10ktons per month with the main wet season next year.
Thursday tomorrow, so last chance for news, they did say that they don't like releasing news on Fridays.
We need updates on the current sales with income and whether 6k tons per month is just pie in the sky.
2 years since the forecast was 10 Ktons per month, any wonder RS was elbowed out.
One piece of positive news could make a major difference to this SP. Having said that, could/should are the terms used in their news releases.

recommended your post because it is a useful reminder of what has been forecast, having said that we need some meat on the bones as they have done nothing to support that statement, hence the drop in SP.

3 months ago, unfortunately the lack of updates points to another failure in production.
The new man is continuing the habits of EDL, no coms.
The sells today appear to be stop losses, with a miniscule drop in the SP, you never know perhaps there is something in the wind, let's see how today pans out.

It was simply a personal opinion after 10 yes. of.SP decline, I have an average low enough to give me hope of recovering my current losses.
It would seem that the major investors have removed RS to replace him with somebody with clout.
Despite major fooli's hydro scheme, TZ needs EDL's coal, if our new man can succeed in getting it out of the ground in sufficient quantities to satisfy the current and ??? new customers there's money to be made from the current SP, the MCAP IS CRAZY.
The downside is, the bulldozer could destroy the economy of this country and find it difficult to encourage foreign investment, although that could increase the value of EDL's resource.
I repeat this a personal opinion until I have reason to change.

2 weeks and it will be 3 months from the last update. It's easy to assume that there is nothing good to report hence the elbowing out of RS.
The new MD/CEO hasn't set the the world on fire going by todays performance.
until proven differently it is still a buy. The next RNS will be decisive in which way the SP will go. Nothing to do now but to wait and see?
