Best to take it at face value for now and assume they are going for growth. If they are fronting inventory up front this is a working capital raise not a keep the lights on raise.
In terms of the market cap it is a tiny amount raised and preferable to selling sbtx shares on the cheap.
I just topped up on the drop for another 5k. But if we are going down this route to raise money then SOH should do that in species dividend of the sbtx shares and return them to shareholders.
I asked share prophets if they could do an interview with fox marble.
I got a cryptic answer saying keep may 8th free. Something is going on. Keeping in mind social distancing I’m wondering if they might do a zoom interview with company CEO’s where people could join in and ask questions.
Watch this space, it’s only 3 weeks away.
I think it’s $1.25 to the pound at the moment so it’s a premium at 36 pounds for one box.
I don’t think it had been posted before as they just copied the link on advfn chat a while ago. It would have been nice to get a hat tip for it.
It’s good to see a new market opening very quickly, most deals take much longer to commercialise.

Not sure if this has already been posted, but prosperous pharma’s Online shop is selling slimbiome medical for $45 a pop.
I think the investment test for me is are they supplying the contracts they have already announced? For example the temple in Abu Dhabi? I can’t see any mention of it in press releases, have I missed news?

Another good one unvrkw. This general shut down in the construction sector doesn’t help at all, but you can see a big rebound coming in the summer.
I still worry about their debts and cash position and wouldn’t put money in to this again yet but you can see by running a smaller operation they could easily be profitable.
We shall see. It’s all conjecture, but if SOH wanted to start to even the revenues up over the year H&B seemed a logical place to start being a new deal.
I did read the posts about the CLN. It amazes me how much time 2 posters spend on the boards at all hours, they must be mentally ill.
I see TW is still saying this should double or treble over the next 2 years so all to play for.
I’m looking forward to the statement and even more the h1 results later this year. I had a quick look at the madness on the advfn chat this morning and I think some of the crazies on there are in for a bit of a shock when we get a trading update.
H1 last year optibiotix only had 2 revenue streams, lpldl (£82,000)and gofigure (£65,000) online and export.
Assuming the worst case that Alfasigma sales and other lpldl distributors (and other Slimbiome territories) won’t be paid until h2 with other licence/royalty streams optibiotix still have expanded gofigure and lpldl sales from their own sales channels, and new territories for gofigure sales.
They also have slimbiome medical (that recent Middle East deal will also contribute immediately) and the jewel in the crown Holland and Barrett.
I just can’t see a 5-6 times uplift between h1 and h2 this year as H&B sales will balance the revenue streams. My prediction is H&B should take 5-6 deliveries of 60000 boxes of slimbiome this h1 creating the lions share of revenues and total revenues in h1 for optibiotix will exceed a million pounds. H2 should then be at least double h1.
Thanks Elrico.
Their biggest competitor here is nestle who own the opti fast range. Same idea thought, extreme calorie restricted diets or lesser restricted calorie diets depending on how fast you want to lose weight.
My wife’s feedback when on the vlcd diet programme was feeling hungry all the time.
I should imagine optislim incorporating cholbiome gives them the commercial edge over nestle by restricting the hunger pangs so it should be a win win for both companies.
Purely because these products are very well known over here. 2 of my workmates were using the optislim products last year, and so did my wife after her first pregnancy. If they do incorporate optibiome into existing or future products they can get them into pharmacies very quickly.
Good partner to have.
I thought the same when I read it as well shadypants2 and I enjoy reading elrico’s blog too. You can’t count it as revenues twice once an invoice is paid.
But if you strip out the sbtx sales and include the exclusivity and milestone payments revenues will be around 1.2 million or slightly lower, and once those invoices are paid cash on hand looks good. The only thing I want confirmed on the year end accounts is that all outstanding invoices were paid and no companies are in arrears.
It’s ancient history anyway, the only question this year is how profitable they can be. Elrico is right I think when he says SOH only forecasts revenues on the deals at hand, that UAE deal should bump up forecasts again, as should the new product range when it comes online, and there’s going to be a few wildcards!
I don’t think it’s going to be too long until something happens over here. Nice to see the treating today, but it still looks very cheap.

I saw this this website a week ago and initially dismissed it thinking the slimbiome was a mistranslation. But the YouTube video shows it is a optibiotix registered trademark.
I thought maybe someone of the bulletin boards might understand Thai or know someone that does so I thought I would put it out there!

Thanks.
That was a pretty strong interview. No big revelations, but at least SOH said they exceeded h1 2019 revenues already and some time ago. Of course it was only 149,000 in revenues for h1 last year, so that’s to be expected. As Holland & Barrett sales only came to fruition in January I wonder if any of that has dropped to the bottom line yet? I think Elrico guessed 90 days payment terms so it’s possible that doesn’t include H&B sales.
I would guess sweetbiotix will definitely commercialise this year if they are talking to that many companies. It can’t come soon enough in this market. Top up tomorrow.
To think less than 2 months ago we could have sold at really 3 times this price!
As distressing it is to see my portfolio take a beating it really is an eye opener watching the world and markets overreact. It’s completely self inflicted pain which will hopefully ease in the next couple of months.
Optibiotix isn’t going bust. It’s too diverse and the overheads are too low. It doesn’t need to raise equity. At worst any new deals might not be signed if air travel is restricted for a while but there are plenty coming to fruition.
