Been away from my computer this morning, so just catching up. Don't think there is anything particularly noteworthy to comment on. We clearly still have one or two large sellers, with selling in 100k, 75k and 50k chunks. We've got some big buys stepping in to scoop these shares up. I'm not great on my technical analysis so am happy to be corrected by others but I think the current range is 42-50p. Feels like it is probably still offloading of placing shares as I can't really think of any good reason for others to be selling now at 42p, when we had high 40's last week, other than maybe boredom or impatience. If I had funds I would be topping up right now. Imo this should be treated as an accumulation phase before news hits and takes us higher.

Agree Jimzi, and it's highly likely that Mkango could announce who the target is but don't want to do so in order to avoid competitors putting in a counter bid. There are lots of different types of M&A processes, both public and private, closed or open, and I assume in this case it is in our interest for the company to be keeping it under wraps until we are the exclusive bidder / the acquisition is agreed.

I'm not sure how many made that connection hamster, but I wasn't one of them. There are clearly going to be substantial synergies between Hypromag Gmbh and our acquisition target, but I think the opening of the Pforzheim plant was largely ceremonial and there was no particular reason to connect this to a date for the acquisition being announced, with the acquisition being bound by its own unrelated timetable.

I don't give he who shall not be named the time of day anymore and can't see his posts hamster, but I would suggest that this inconsistency is because said individual has completely destroyed his credibility with clear position posting and other nefarious tactics.

Fever, I think that's a little bit harsh. Like yourself, I have a fair bit of experience of M&A, and I don't necessarily agree with the idea that the process should be happening as quickly as you suggest. The fundraise occurred on 10th April, and we don't know where they were in the process with the potential acquisition target. If we were a few more months down the line and had still not heard anything I would be in complete agreement with you, but I'm not sweating about it yet after only four weeks.

It may be that the potential acquisition target wanted to see that Mkango's bid was credible / the money was there in order to properly engage with the company, so the raise may have been required in order to move to the next stage of the M&A process.

I would say however that if we go another couple of months with no news of the acquisition then it will reflect very poorly on management and would further call into question the timing and size of the heavily discounted placing.

I’m not sure about soo many. Traders will be of course, but as JMUK says, they are likely to be buying in in the run up to the listing once pre listing milestones start being hit. Most LTH on here are here for the recycling story, and we likely have another, larger Nasdaq listing in the next 12 months for Hypromag USA.

Well it seems that we are taking a right pasting today, for reasons unknown. Time for patience and fortitude, things don't normally come easy in this game. I'm looking to the management team and JT for a couple of months of strong delivery, and for the SEC to pull their finger out.

Magic, I do think you may be invested in the wrong share, if that is how you expect the SP to react to the SPAC listing. I, like the majority on here, see the SPAC listing as a valuation step change event, and just one milestone on the way to a MCAP in the billions. If you don't see that future or have the patience to let it play out, there are probably better places to invest your money.

I think the majority of the placing shares have been chewed through. There have been one or two large sellers over the past week though, whether placees or not I don't know. There are also people trading and once it was clear that 50p wouldn't be breached they've probably sold, hoping to get back in in the low 40's. It looks like we are probably in this trading range (43-50p) until news of some sort arrives.

Grok, like all the other AI models is just speculating. They have all given slightly different answers around how long the process takes (because there is no definitive answer), and grok is likely no more accurate than the others. I see very little chance that the listing is delayed to Q4, and there appears to be no sound basis for saying that this is the case. Given the lack of comms on the listing it’s possible we are delayed until the start of next quarter, but I’m still betting on June and will be annoyed if it slips any further than this. In the meantime, would also like some progress on Hypromag USA FID.

We are in the hands of the SEC, and are approaching 3 months since our original submission to them. Time for something to start happening. Been a fair bit of selling since our good start this morning. Need some positive news to take the next leg higher.

Off topic - SIT, it’s Aya gold and Silver. It’s not as big a deal there as our SPAC listing will be for us, just a case of increasing liquidity in the share as a result of being on the Nasdaq rather than the OTC in the US. Also means all the company news that was being held back due to the closed period can now be released.

Btw, haven’t been able to recommend posts recently and saw on the Greatland board that this was also an issue for others. I needed to clear my cache history to fix it.

My biggest silver miner holding just got upgraded from an OTC to a Nasdaq listing half an hour ago after SEC approval. Process took a little longer than the CEO had anticipated based on his comms with me. I'm going to take this as a good sign that we will get news from the SEC soon.

Drabtley, without knowing the detailed costings, at a high level there is just no way that we could deliver an additional 650tpa of capacity for circa £2m. Think about the fact that our US plant is costing c.$150m for about 1.55ktpa. The original UK plant equipment is over £4.5m from memory (not on my laptop to check the accounts). I think I previously saw in a Hypromag USA RNS that an HPMS vessel was about $8m by itself, and that was a couple of years back. To expand to 1ktpa we would surely need another vessel. The US plants have three vessels each from memory.

Thanks for the clarification Biffa. I’ll take parts of the article with a pinch of salt in that case. Positive article, but with no greater understanding of the company than there is collectively on this BB. But for people not already getting their info from this board, it is good for getting the message out.

Thanks for that Code. It’s a decent write up, though a few things missing and some clear errors in there to boot.

What I found most interesting was his assertion that the plan is to raise $220m (circa 40% of this money required for the Songwe build) through the PIPE financing that goes alongside the MKAR listing. Not sure what his sources are, but that’s a big assertion and a lot of money to be raising immediately upon listing. I would be pleasantly surprised if we managed to do this as it would set us up brilliantly, but I have my doubts. He does also fail to discuss the equity funding required for Pulawy.

He also has the MKAR listing as happening in Q3 2026, so not this quarter as per the latest comms from the company. Again, not sure if he has any non-public info on this or if it’s just supposition on his part. I don’t think anyone other than the SEC have any control over the timetable.

His breakdown of the use of funds from the placing is also interesting and appears more detailed than that in the RNS. I think his assertion that we’re funding the expansion to 1ktpa for Tyseley with £2m from the raise seems a bit far fetched. Would be keen to know how much more info he has than Joe Public, because if he doesn’t have any additional info from the company then he probably shouldn’t be asserting things with that level of confidence.
