Yep, if I had any spare cash (it's all invested), I would be buying metals/commodities companies for the super cycle that has arrived. I have a little bit in copper miners, a tiny bit in oil services, a tiny bit in platinum miners, a lot in silver miners and a good amount in gold miners. Oh and of course a large majority of my portfolio in Mkango!

No-one bought high 30's, and we were only in low 40's (to buy) briefly, but yeh we still have some sellers. But at the moment more buyers, at least in the afternoons.

Cotec are down so don't think you're right there strangler. SG, I think it's probably a delayed reaction to Mkango from the US, so more like your second sentence.

I don't necessarily think so SG. I think this is driven by US money returning and technicals rather than someone in the know front-running news. We are not leaky and it would be good if we can re-rate in advance of news, to form a base from which it can take us a lot higher.

Oh and I forgot, Neodymium prices at 3 year highs and a perfect macro and geopolitical backdrop. Seriously, if considering selling, book an appointment with the doctor, private if you have to.

Indeed, and anyone considering selling at the moment, consider the fact that we have just crossed three significant moving averages, US money has returned and we have a whole load of significant news around the corner. Oh, and perhaps go to the doctor and get your head checked...

It's a bit like watching the news when it's covering an area you are an expert in. Nine times out of ten, they miss the point / generalise / misrepresent the situation. This is our comparative advantage over such "researchers" and "analysts", and is greatly enhanced by the strength of this board and information sharing. The precious metals sector / junior miners is so under covered by analysts, particularly younger ones who are all about tech and AI, that there is serious money to be made by doing your own research.

Ticked back up to 48p bid. Let's see some strength into close and we could be away and on the march northwards.

We had a very brief tick up to 48p on the bid, before a reversion to 47p. The key thing for me here is that the US money, which for the last few weeks has been a constant drag on the SP, seems to have about turned and is now taking us higher. If that keeps up I think a steady rise up in advance of major news is on the cards.

Is that an ABC move including the retrace to 55p before the move up to 100p?

Let's hope so Bonker. A technical question for you if you don't mind. I've got the 20 and 50 and 100 day MA's all in the 47s. I'm assuming that a move and hold above this level would be quite bullish?

Another tick up, we are definitely in play with US investors seemingly switching back to bullish. This was part of the puzzle that took us all the way from 30p to 73p in the Autumn. Interestingly I asked AI what our average daily volume was on the US OTC markets. Apparently it is about 40k, so not too far off Canada!

We seem to have had a bit of a change this week in that buying interest picks up around US open (with associated tick up), whereas the opposite was true for the past few weeks. The return of US investor interest? Now that would be nice.

There have been a few £.99k buys showing up again recently, including the £29.99k delayed buy just reported now.

Most definitely velcro. Approaching 10 years of patience for me here, but the rewards for that patience have been rich, and I am convinced that they will be absolutely epic in time. Patient money that compounds, invested with conviction, is how you get the life-changing sums. Chasing every hot new thing can work if you are very good / very lucky, but much more often ends in ruin.

Great to see the BB busy and short term positive sentiment seeming to return. Maybe the delayed SPAC will end up being a master stroke, intentional or otherwise... The Songwe and Pulawy economics should look a lot better on both current and forecast prices as velcro says. I wonder if there is more to this delay than meets the eye, and by that I mean ongoing discussions with EU/US on one or both of the projects.

Yep, the properties you get with RE magnets are unparalleled and there is no way to replace them without losing performance. A bit like replacing silver with copper, or replacing copper with aluminium. It can be done, but you need a lot more material / lose performance.

Ah, thanks Kaeren, was wondering. Anyway, we've ticked back up to 46p on the bid, so maybe some "day traders" took notice...
