The vast majority of the reported trades are buys so far (despite being marked as sells). There is a big seller who has already offloaded 7m+ sells in the previous 3 days and it seems they are not done. Expecting more prints after close. Once they are done we will rerate quickly, this has a massive valuation upside for our SPAC.

There is no guarantee of grant funding through the award of this status, but it opens doors to the funding agencies and also with major market players. It says, the EU wants this project to happen and will help make it happen. It's a game changer.

See my posts below about EU CRMA Strategic Project status. Basically it means the project will get priority from EU institutions when it comes to grant funding and financing e.g. through the EIB. Any grant funding would be non-dilutive and EIB financing would be in the form of subsidised loans i.e. below market rate. EIB normally provides up to 50% of project debt, alongside commercial lenders. I have worked with them in the past. This announcement is big for the company.

Refinance your CULN's using EIB debt on favourable and subsidised terms, yes please! Their existing debt and liquidity issues are priced into the SP already, this is their potential route out of that / route to being operational, so could be a game changer.

Wouldn't seem like a good strategy to do that now, 6 months before the NASDAQ listing, would be better for them to wait for our SP to appreciate and sell Mkango shares just before listing, so that they can take part in any initial capital raise by the SPAC. But the honest answer is we don't know and can only speculate about the big seller's rationale. There has to be an announcement at some stage though given the volume sold, either because of crossing a TR-1 threshold or exercise of warrants or whatever. The major shareholders on the company's website have not changed as far as I can see. But the good news is that we are clearing the seller now and doing it pretty quickly, so that it won't be a drag when we get the big news later this month.

I think the point of this announcement is that they will now have access to EU funding and financing to restart the plant as a Strategic Project.

I really think that AIM critical mineral stocks with US, UK or EU support are going to have a golden age. AIM is so undervalued, but money is coming back into the market here and the macro backdrop means these projects just have to happen. Lot's of money to be made.

Nice to see you too GLR. I read up about the company recently due to the Chinese tungsten export restrictions and was considering taking a position. Then I saw the CRMA non-EU list published and decided to jump in. For companies like Tungsten West and GreenRoc this news is massive as it greatly increases the chance that they are going to happen. For Mkango it was a nice to have and will increase the value of the SPAC listing.

Yeh, we are clearly still in big seller world, but the great news keeps coming. For anyone who has any patience these announcements will eventually take us into the mid to high twenties once the seller is done.

Was this on the radar for you guys? I'm invested in Mkango Resources and GreenRoc resources which have both also been awarded this status by the EU, there are only 13 non-EU projects in total. This is big as it means the project will have access to EU grant funding and financing, through the European Investment Bank and other institutions. In my view it virtually guarantees that the project will be financed. I have jumped in here following the announcement, as had previously considered investing here and read up about the project. Time to get excited!

I think they were purposefully waiting for this announcement before the SPAC. Our projects are a hell of a lot more valuable now. I'm in dreamland!
