Ok.... I think you may have missed the point her FeedCo. This is not an announcement of the Business Combination Agreement, which will have all the details you are asking about. This announcement confirms to us that the intended deadline is end of month (similar to what we were already speculating based on the need to complete the SPAC by year end) and provides funding for Lancaster (Mkango) to get to SPAC listing without requiring Mkango to raise money / issue shares at the group level. This is great news and certainly not smoke and mirrors to those of us who know the company well.

Well it seems we were right in terms of timing then, a hard deadline of end of this month for the business combination agreement to be signed, with money at risk if it’s not.

This news also seems to clear up the need for another raise for the time being. Reading the quarterly results over the weekend it looked like our cash burn was $1.1m per quarter, with $3m in the bank at quarter end. The money from CrownProptech looks like it will cover any additional BCA and SPAC costs on our end and so not add to our cash burn.

Very positive news all round in my opinion. Plan for BCA to complete and UK plant to be operational by month end, my daughter’s birthday is 30 June, could have plenty to celebrate!

Yep that’s fairly even now but will wait to see the price action tomorrow to confirm whether the seller is done.

With nearly a million more buys than sells we should be up substantially as well on the face of it, though I think Codejunkie is right about a background sell order being filled, otherwise where are all the shares coming for these buys? Once that is cleared, this should start moving fast.

I can sell 100k at 17.08p, so the MM's are clearly trying to mess with the SP this morning.

Pretty crazy SP action, buys currently outweighing sells 4:1 and we are down 0.5p on the bid. Must be something up in the background.

Funnily enough there wasn't that much volume at 15p, so there was no chance for someone to get 500k themselves. I suspect Bonker took a chunk down there, as did I. The massive volume was all in the high 15's-17's, but mostly in the 16's and 17's on Friday.

Yep, sitting on hands and riding your winners is the name of the game here, and it's not always easy when you're already on a 3 or 4 bagger. It's all about the interaction between value and price. This price, while 3/4 times what it was last year, still pales in comparison to the value that Mkango has.

Cotec are certainly very frustrated by their current share price, you can tell how exasperated Julian is when he speaks about it. Cotec have talked about being open to listing their subsidiaries separately and I think that if the valuation disconnect continues for them they will be up for a NASDAQ listing of Maginito / Hypromag in the not too distant future.

Yep, certainly worth asking, never rely on BB commentary as fact. From my perspective it was great to see this figure written down for the first time, as it was lower than I had expected. Lots of good news hidden away in the quarterly results.

Apologies I wrote licence fee, but meant royalty fee. It is the same thing. You wouldn't have a commercial arrangement where you paid both a licence fee and a royalty and in my experience they can be used interchangeably. I reckon they'll make their money back with interest no problem by the time we are done!

Well that 750k sell must have been the one that was stopping this from going any higher today when 18p looked to be on the cards. Got to be happy with 10% rise and lots more sellers cleared out. Fantastic day!

Yeh but the four original Directors from Hypromag were all employees of the Uni and had developed the tech there themselves, so it makes sense that they gave them a good deal.

Where do you get the warrant figure? The only one I can see is the 209,375 at 8p from 27 March 2025 which I seem to remember was reported around that time.

Funny that half the loss for the quarter was due to a valuation adjustment to the warrants i.e. the share price has risen so much that the company has to report a loss on them when they are marked to market. I'm plenty happy with that kind of loss, more of the same please!

Agreed StockGenius, I only listed the bits that had what looked like new info or more clarity on existing info. But definitely important that their timetables for those two projects haven't changed, which would make you think that Tyseley is nailed on to be ready on time given there are only four weeks to go (surely they would have said otherwise!).
