I'm just repeating what I was told by AJ Bell dealing help line. Not intended as a warning or advice.

I called AJ Bell last Fri about not being able to buy online only sell.

Was told thy were investigating organised "pump and dump" activity across social media. No mention of missing KIID docs. Asked how long the investigation would take, no time frame given, when pushed, was told weeks not days. Did offer to place an order over the phone. Told them I wasn't happy, my money, my risk and my choice etc. Didn't mind too much as I could trade through ii, but now that avenue looks to have closed as well.

Called AJ Bell ref restricted trading. Told that they are investigating coordinated "pump and dump" activity on TIR.

I burst out laughing, reminding them that this is the AIM market, it's like a wild show and has its fair share of sharks lurking. I can buy over the phone, and use a limit order buy if want to guarantee a buy price
