Gold hit a record high Tuesday as there were no signs of a reprieve from an impasse between the two houses of the U.S. Congress that had led to a government shutdown, while near-certain bets of a Federal Reserve rate cut this month provided support.

Either way over 60 million already traded today.

It was yesterday after the bell……if they had made that trade on inside information it was wrong either way.

Looks like a few had their stop losses taken out......

Its all good churn. The people selling now are on a good profit (probably) and for sure they would have sold out on the release of news. We want the shares in sticky hands of institutions. That could be what is starting to happen here....

The service company must have a degree of confidence that there new shares will be worth far more than they are now relatively soon. Otherwise they would have just taken the cash…..IMHO.

Given that Zebediela has been waiting 14+ months for its mining right, any serious strategic interest would likely already be under confidential negotiation. South African precedent suggests that a JV announcement could realistically come within days of the mining right grant.

So Mining Rights Approval could be as early as next week. They could have been working on a JV whilst they wait and of course this would make complete sense as they have had the application in for 14 months. Could be one almighty RNS.
