Hi Sooz. Just checking in now. Yes, weird feeling here at the moment I reckon, because with all the previously planned work earmarked to be undertaken this year, when it’s looking like one of our busiest, with two PFS gigs on the cards at different projects, it seems odd and a real pity that we suddenly don’t have our CEO, especially after he’s done all of the hard work in ensuring the concession was achievable and then attained.

Kurt has left us though at a time when we are, he mentions, entering the next stage of our development, which is a fair time to leave, but it does pose the question more now about what to expect for the remainder of the year. Will Johan spin Vardar out? We don’t know what he may be contemplating, perhaps differently, or what is really going on at all now, following Kurt’s departure. As we push towards mid-Q2, we still have no news of the PFS commencing at Kal, or any further updates yet from the other projects.

Fingers crossed we are on good footing though, it seems so, and that Johan is managing our corner suitably well. Aye, it does feel we are waiting at a crossroads but without the certainty of who is coming to take us home or when.

I suppose we must remain patient.

Pocko, you know very well what I mean, they can be run independently of each other, as they are each a different project in a different country, albeit currently under the collective BEM umbrella. Yes, at present they do rely on private investors for financial support, but each could be sold off as a standalone entity. We also know that the Finnish and Swedish projects are advancing well, from what we’ve been told via RNS, as in, PFS on each. Now on the Grafintec project and Q2 on Kal.

I’m not sure why Pocko, but your tone always seems aggressive. I thought you’d be over the moon that Kurt has departed, regardless of why or when.

I would say that we need an extremely good announcement next. On balance.

Hi Sooz. Sounds as if it was Kurt’s choice to leave, albeit last minute. It’s not particularly timely, but when would have been a good time? I’m disappointed he didn’t remain until after the mine was built, but it could be that there is something happening that we don’t yet know about. As has been banded about a lot by Kurt and now Johan, BEM has three separate independent businesses that are poised to do well each in their own right.

I guess we just wait for the next news. Notably, in the last RNS, it mentioned a new CEO being appointed and not sought. So maybe there is someone already in mind as Kurt’s replacement.

Xophe did make a good point, and I suppose the other BoD members can decide between themselves on a reshuffle.

I am nervous, because it’s unfamiliar ground now, but let’s see. Kurt mentions the company moving on to the next stage of its development, so we must trust that some fair value will come for shareholders.

I’ve only just seen yesterday evening’s RNS re Kurt. It is a surprise, but as he says, the location and the fact that we’ve everything set out to reach the mining stage, I’m not sure what additional value he could now bring in Sweden, considering Ulla is in charge of overseeing the Kallak project. So this is his end, if not the end. With Vardar, different matter, not sure whether that will still be spun out or shelved, but we shall see. And we have Rasmus running Grafintec. While I’m disappointed that Kurt has gone, because he’s a really good bloke, if we look at the picture now, the advanced position of the Kal project especially, I can see why he feels it’s time to step down.

I also believe he’s done the right thing for himself and his family, which is, in my opinion, the most important factor in any decision anyone could ever make.

That million share trade from yesterday looks very much like a buy. Unfortunately it wasn’t mine. Good confidence though. We need the news machine to start rolling now. Definitive news that is. The collaboration news was promising, but again, very general. Early days I suppose, so fair enough, but come on Kurt, let’s be having you. Third of the year has gone already.

True SJ. We are no longer, at present anyway, waiting for a Governmental decision on anything we’ve lodged. Feels good and yes, potentially two very promising businesses in Finland and Sweden, but Kosovo a step too far with our finances I reckon. We’ve thrown a lot at it, and on the plus side, now created an exciting exploration target map, but I would like to pass it on for another company to deal with. One perhaps with a handy bottomless pit of money. Lol.

Rick, I agree with what you say. It’s not been exactly smooth waters over there with the neighbours.
