RE: RE: Strategic review22 Jul 2023 19:31
I don’t know what to make of it all really. Hence sitting on the fence, but only in the absence of further evidence. Based on the RNS news of late, including the shock departure of Kurt, other than progress at Grafintec, the picture seems grim. Based on what I can glean, not on what we don’t yet know. My thoughts are that if a deal was due for the development of Kal, in the not too distant, for example, within the next three months, then why wouldn’t Kurt have stayed to be involved in that? This considering the new CEO, Ed, is similarly qualified to Kurt and with skills on par, albeit a fresh pair of eyes, as we’ve been told. Kurt leaving is a bother to me, I must admit. Almost as bothersome as Röstin’s treatment of shareholders since.
So, I’m sitting on the fence and will believe it when I see it in terms of any deal being drawn. Nothing may be occurring until the two new guys arrive, in spite of the strategic review already being underway, from an unknown date, to finish on an unknown date six months from whenever it commenced. That’s Röstin again, useless information on purpose.
We do know we still have the Sami appeal active, a very low sp and uncertainty right now as to how much we are spending. I feel we need news from Vardar and Kallak. Surely we shouldn’t have to wait for the strategic review to be completed for those updates, bearing in mind we’ve just had an update from Grafintec. Otherwise where’s the uniformity I approach?
Unless it’s already been decided that the Finland project and newsflow shall continue while the review is underway. The other projects put on hold, no news. Something along those lines, but again, we just don’t know do we?
Much to ponder, as per.
In my opinion only.
